planning on visiting
I submitted my apps and they're being processed. I want to visit so that I can write a "Why X" essay

Re: planning on visiting UVA and GULC should I make an appt?
You should email someone in the office of admissions and say you're planning on visiting campus and are wondering if you could join a tour on (date). I'm sure they have a regular process for it, and that way they will know in their records that you are apparently interested enough to visit. I'm not sure why you would ask to meet with someone; is there something in particular you would want to talk about?

Nope. Just walk in there like you own it.

Well its because I heard a lot of people talk about how it might help your admission if u get lucky and get an opportunity to meet with someone influential and make a good impression.mel2010 wrote:You should email someone in the office of admissions and say you're planning on visiting campus and are wondering if you could join a tour on (date).
