I'll be there from April 6th to April 10th for the OMV on April 8th. Going to see Tim McGraw at the Erwin Center on the 9th.

I'm staying on 11th street at a La Quinta Inn, don't know what is around there, but a friend who is from TX told me it was a good location for its cost compared to other hotels in the area.

Soooo Salt Lick is going to happen. When do people get in? Will a decent number of yall be in on Thursday night?

Also, I'm really psyched for this weekend because I think it is going to be crucial in my decision making process.

I fly in Wednesday night.

And I also feel it will be crucial to my decision making process. I need to know UT can get me back to the West Coast.

kiiiiiiiiiiinda... I was born in Gilroy, California but we moved before my 1st birthday. Then I lived in Irvine for a few years during Jr High.

But I've been there for vacation a lot. Like, a lot a lot. And I love it. The economy not so much.

That's fair. I am hoping that visiting will really help me make up my mind. I like Austin, and I love how cheap it is to live there in comparison to Orange County.

Alright, let's do this BBQ thing. It's a bit of a drive to the Salt Lick. I'll have a car, anyone else?

What night would work best? Obviously we will all be there Friday night, but if we went Thursday I know a place we can two-step...

Haha, could you send your notes to me, too? I visited UT a couple weeks ago and I'm thinking I'm going to use my free-round trip SW ticket to go tour USC. I have a chance at a scholarship there... if I could minimize my debt then I might turn down UNC for it. I'm feeling the California love and ignoring its economic woes.
