I'm pissed. I can't get in til Thursday around midnight. Odds of me having a single sober friend to pick me up from the airport = 0.rockyIV wrote:I'll be there, where is the spot to be for St. Pattys in Boston??
Should be a fun time though.

I will be there! Can't wait. Does anyone know if there is a travel stipend available? Also, I wonder if we can stay with a current law student who goes to the school. I could stay with my friend who goes to Tufts, but I feel like I may want to stay in an area where BC law students live.

I'm crashing with my buddy who is a 2L. I don't think BC has a way of setting up prospective students with housing.
The travel stipend I am curious about though. Word is BU comps 200 for travel. One would think that keeping up with the jones' could push BC to answer in kind.

Any big bar in Bosotn will probably have St. Patty's day stuff going on...Closest to BC is Mary Anns, biggest undergrad hangout near campus...rockyIV wrote:I'll be there, where is the spot to be for St. Pattys in Boston??

The admissions office got back to me and let me know that they are not offering any travel stipends at this time. Oh well, I'm coming anyway!

Re: BC 3/18?
I'm actually going the week before (3/11). I want to go with one of my friends to get his opinion on the Boston area too, and that's the only time he will go. Hopefully I will be able to get a good enough feel of Boston!

Anyone know of any hotel deals in town? Coming up on the Thursday and can't wait.

Any future BC 1Ls living in NYC? I'd love to meet up with people before starting in the Fall!

I just booked my trip for the admitted students day and am so excited! I think I'm definitely going to BC at this point. Did you all join the BC Law 2014 facebook group?

I'll be at the open house as well! Pretty set on BC at this point.
In terms of St. Patty's there will be stuff the whole weekend at all the irish pubs. The parade in Southie is on Sunday, so there will be plenty of festivities leading up to it.

Re: BC 3/18?
I want to but it's going to cost me a lot of $$$ to book a flight on such short notice, plus that's really not a good day for me to be out of the office. I wonder if there is a major advantage of going to ASD vs. just going on my own a couple of weeks later?
