Visiting Vandy Tomorrow

Post by J. Galt » Thu Oct 28, 2010 1:52 pm

So tomorrow I am sitting in on a Torts class and being interviewed not by an alum, but by Dean Morton. I am a little nervous, but I normally do very well during interviews. Anyone met him before? What should I expect? Any advice would be welcome.

Do you know whose tort class you're sitting in? We're having a mock trial tomorrow--should be fun.

It's Farahany's class. What would be appropriate clothing for my interview immediately following the class? Tie and jacket or less formal?

Thanks a lot. I'll probably post here later about how it goes.

In case anyone cares, the interview went very well. Dean Morton was very nice and easy to talk to. He gave me the opportunity to ask some questions and then took me on a tour of the building after he had finished his questions. The campus is beautiful, and the overall feel of Vandy and Nashville has been great so far. I'm hoping my 170 arrives any second now so that I can hurry up and start applying.
