Free Law School Event in Downtown Chicago (July 20th)

Post by NLE 2011 » Mon Jul 19, 2010 12:32 pm

First time poster.

I'm not entirely sure if this belongs in this forum, but I figured it'll get moved if it's in the wrong place. If it is in the wrong place, my apologies in advance.

Anyway, thanks to many different law schools, Kaplan is hosting a free law school event tomorrow (July 20th) in Chicago. It will be taking place from 6-9 PM in the second floor conference center at the UBS Building. Based on what a Kaplan rep told me over the phone, it's 100% free containing a seminar and many different reps from different law schools who will have booths set up.

Is anyone else going to this/interested in going to this? I registered for this, but apparently you can "bring a friend" which sort of makes me wonder if there was any point in registering at all.

I'm pretty excited. As I understand it, we will be given the opportunity to talk to admission reps, which IMO is huge. I definitely plan on posting a review of this after it has taken place. I just wanted to put this up here and see if there was anyone else in the area was attending this.

Also, has anyone been to something like this before? What were your experiences like?
