Travel stipend...how long to get money? Forum

I have a quick question about travel stipends. Does anyone know how long most schools take to actually pay you the travel stipend? There's probably plenty of red tape issues that makes the payment of the travel stipend take a while. Does it take the entire summer? a month? an entire year? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Just like grandma used to do, they pay you in E bonds. You can redeem them in 29 years at full value, and if you hold on to them for 50 you might earn 10 bucks of extra interest!

Usually you fill out a reimbursement form afterward and attach your boarding pass and other receipts.

Which school are offering these this year? I apologize for asking this in a few threads lately, but I haven't actually gotten a response yet.

Varies by school.
My schools -
Minnesota sends you one in August
BU mails it to you sometime soon after you provide the receipts at ASD

I think I hijacked the wrong thread... I am trying to find out exactly who is offering them, not the payment timeline.

usually takes 3-4 weeks, in my experience, and you have to have receipts/actually attend the asw

Many schools offer them. If you want to know which, do what everyone else does and email or call them school.
