Is this the cannibal "boat-stuck-at-sea" case? If so, then I definitely remember this from crim last year. It's funny how certain cases like this stick out in my mind, but I couldn't tell you what I read for class yesterday. :D

Get excited, everyone - ASW is almost here!!!!!!! And you guys just missed the two weeks of nonstop rain we've had. The weather has been PERFECT the last few days.

It is a classic case. Pretty much every crim law class reads it.
I can definitely see basic principles of basic crim law in there. But still, the case is a bit ridiculous for a mock class. Or maybe it is great because of the wonderful story line.

Oh no - I think I jinxed you guys. :(
Well, cloudy skies are still better than rainy skies....fingers crossed there's nice weather. It will be almost impossible to turn down Berkeley if it's a clear day and you can see the Golden Gate from outside the law school (p.s. - you usually can when the sun is shining).

Yeah that weather looks no better than it is here in VA, if not, worse. I was certainly disappointed when I saw the forecast.

It is the same forecast as when I visited ( Jan 8th or around there). :x

Bonus - will just wear what I wear now.

Hey that's a plus if this is also what it is like in January.

It is. But the drawback is that it may be like this in May. lol

You gotta say hi this weekend. I think I missed you at the other ones.

It's chilly, but you guys got the sunshine. I'm so bummed that I won't be on campus and will be missing all of you guys. I hope you have a blast, and feel free to come back to these boards with any unanswered questions you have!

Oh, eat a slice of stuffed pizza at Ralph's on College Ave. Even if you're from the midwest and know what real deep dish is, this place will likely capture your heart. :D

Seriously? I thought you had better taste than this! Zachary' for the deep dish win! And Cheeseboard for the grand pizza championship. :-)

Hope to meet some of you tomorrow at the activities tables.

Just leaving admit day. Festivites still going on but I have airport duty and dinner reservations in the city, so my day at B is over. First, no lap running, so I am happy!

Seriously tho, I enjoyed yesterday and today. There were some logistical issues that at times interrupted the flow or made it hard to really talk and mingle, but the substance was overall good.

Most of all, I found the people to be engaging, engaged and also, normal. I was kinda starting to worry about being in a place where everyone was smarter than me, but I do feel like I fit in after all. Its definitely an environment I feel comfortable in, but know I will be challenged. Also, the opportunities seem outstanding.

They chose some really good people to represent the school in some instances, so that was just icing on the cake. Oh, and can all of law school please be like professor murrays mock class? It was funny but still intellectually stimulating. She was very good. And it wouldn't hurt if all the readings could please be three pages long. Kthx.

Oh my god - I can't believe I did this. I meant Zachary's! Ralph's is the place near my mom's house back in NJ. Guess I'm a little homesick. Never tell my husband. Ever. :D

+1 so much. Berkeley did such an excellent job selling itself this weekend. Barring an H or S acceptance, Berkeley seems to be winning for me now.

I still care. But, if I don't get in, I still have Berkeley.

I don't know if I can make the finances work, but I will keep trying.

Since finances aren't working out anywhere for me, I figure I can jus go where I am most happy.

Maybe that turns out to be a good thing :)

You know I've pretty much given up on the other ones. But I was figured out this weekend is that I would feel 150% at home at Boalt. I haven't felt like I fit in like this, well ever. So it's going to be a tough 6 weeks trying to figure every out.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
