Got my email - I'll be in the Holiday Inn Express. Hell, I won't even need law school after I stay there for a night.

lol... me too! sweet, we got some TLSers in the same place. So, Gary Berteer, what is the plan for our get-together? I know we talked about the coffee, but since we're all in the same hotel seems like we could make it easier.

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself since I finally decided to register on the forum

...I've been reading the articles on the site for close to two years now. So I apologize in advance for any charges of 'lurking' that may be fired my way.

Anyways, I got accepted to W&L and will be attending the ASW this weekend. I just got my 'lodging details' today. I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn.

I'm down to go out and grab some beers this weekend and hopefully meet some of you all. It should be a fun weekend

After we get back to the hotel, everyone stand in the lobby and shout: "ED TO UVA". The correct response to this greeting is to yell out "RETAKE". At this point we will all be thrown out and we can head out.

In more seriousness, would it be easier to meet back at a hotel, or go directly from coffee? Don't imagine Holiday Inn or HI Express has a hotel bar, but we could car pool downtown as long as we have drivers taking it easier (I can volunteer, but my car only fits me +3).

Meeting back at the hotel sounds the best because we won't have cars at the event (shuttles are leaving from the hotels) and in case people don't make it to Lexington in time for the coffee event. Carpooling sounds good. And if any TLSers are at the other hotel, they can meet us at Macado's around 9:30ish edited to add the time

I'm also at Holiday Inn Express. I'm not sure what time I'll be rolling into town, as I'm working a full work day on Friday, but I'll definitely be there by 9:30 (here's hoping). If I don't see anyone in the hotel lobby, I'll be at Macado's.

Sounds good to me... I'll be at the coffee event. I'm hoping to just bump into someone (anyone) there who will admit they are TLS, and then hopefully we can just figure things out from there. I also volunteer to DD if no one else wants to.

staying saturday as well. hoping the evening dinner on saturday brings us some adult beverages... but I am spoiled by the WUSTL way, lol

Pretty high, like top 3 right now. But I haven't heard back from a couple that I'd put ahead of it. I do really like it though and definitely am considering it. How about you?

GULC (if I get a huge scholarship)

I'm a 1L at W&L. We have a party out at my house this friday night that 0L's would be welcome to come to. It's an animal house themed band party, so togas/frat star attire. People's Blues of Richmond is playing, there will be kegs and jungle juice, and a ton of law students. We have a big field to park in, but don't drink and drive. We have sober drivers until 1am that will run you back into town if you can't drive back. 1146 Collierstown Rd Lexington Va.

First visit down. William and Mary was really nice and definitetly worth the visit. Touring UVA tomorrow, then off to Lexington for a weekend with you fine people.
