Definitely true. Fortunately, it looks like Friday is now little/no chance of rain. Whoopee!

No need for business attire. Wear something clean and comfortable.

I told my parents about the faculty dessert receptions, and they were like, "oh you have to wear nice/fancy clothes!"... but I'm going to trust BioEBear on this one! :D

You should certainly dress nicely for the reception, but by no means must you bust out a 3-piece suit. Nice jeans or khakis + sweater or button-down is more than fine. Girls, you're on your own here :?

A tie would be overkill. Basically, just don't wear sweatpants/jean cutoffs, and you should be ok.

TITCR-the same uniform I have been wearing to all the ASWs (dulc makes fun of me for it)...

Also, dot, if you so chose to wear flannel/plaid, you can join the flannel boys club!

Ugh I wear SO much plaid, but alas, I don't think I packed /any/ for my cross-country law school tour. Plan to bust out the red pants again sometime this weekend though. Should go over better than it did at Capitale.

Also, I am at Berkeley now and won't get to Stanford til after the dinners probably. Can any LGBT (or otherwise helpful) folks help me figure out when/where I can join the outlaws social event this evening?

Two things I forgot: sunglasses and shorts...

I'm currently sitting at a fountain with my feet in the water. I don't understand how this place is real.

The LGBT event will be tomorrow night in the Castro (though there is a dinner tonight with Pam Karlan and her partner). The event tonight is all minority admits, and will be in the area.

I'm sitting in an airport waiting to get back. Make sure you come by and say hi at the OutLaw table during the activities fair tomrrow!
