Not to beat a dead horse, but what were they thinking when they built that thing? Most TTTs have more attractive buildings than that. BU (or whoever originally built the tower) couldn't have hired a decent architect?sophia.olive wrote:I dont know If you think this is beautiful or ugly, but both are pretty ugly.Cupidity wrote:Inside looking out:

Seriously. What's up with the fake turret things on top? That makes sense on a more classic style building (like in the photo above) but just looks awful on that law building.sophia.olive wrote:duke looks like a bad lego rendition of a medieval castle.

Edit: Not that architecture is the most important thing to look for in a law school but come on, give the students something nice to put on a postcard.

Gargoyles look better in shadows anyways.
Spending 5 hours a day in a building like that would turn someone into an acolyte.

Lol i mean the architecture is kind of cool in a historical way (read: not to look at). I think that turret thing is a old style air circulation system. I've seen it in old buildings in D.C. Basically fans would push the air through it to keep it from getting too warm. I might be wrong bc I have never seen it run of the outside of a building like that so anyone who knows different please correct me. It is ugly as sin though lolsophia.olive wrote:The architect went to BC.omninode wrote:Not to beat a dead horse, but what were they thinking when they built that thing?
