As far as best looking buildings out of the top schools, I dont think any of these places can compare with Michigan's quad. just image search the reading room and lawyers club and there isn't much that can compete with it.

Michigan, incidentally, has two construction projects of its own at the moment as well.cigol wrote:As far as best looking buildings out of the top schools, I dont think any of these places can compare with Michigan's quad. just image search the reading room and lawyers club and there isn't much that can compete with it.

The reading room and the quad are breathtaking. The Lawyers Club is a dump inside.cigol wrote:As far as best looking buildings out of the top schools, I dont think any of these places can compare with Michigan's quad. just image search the reading room and lawyers club and there isn't much that can compete with it.

the most important thing to note here is that this picture was taken during the winter....Knockglock wrote:Yup, Pepperdine is absolutely gorgeous. That picture is amazing.F458JE wrote:How can you argue against Malibu, California?

I heard Uconn actually has a pretty nice campus. Far nicer than one would expect from a non top 25 law school.Barbie wrote:Where the F are UConn pics? I can't find them, even with search activated.

What does a school's ranking have to do with the aesthetics of the campus?lawschool2014 wrote:I heard Uconn actually has a pretty nice campus. Far nicer than one would expect from a non top 25 law school.Barbie wrote:Where the F are UConn pics? I can't find them, even with search activated.

This. The exterior of Michigan's buildings are incredible, as is the interior of the reading room, but besides that the interior of Michigan law is cold (aesthetically speaking) and musty.romothesavior wrote:The reading room and the quad are breathtaking. Michigan wins if we are talking only about the exterior, which is all you see in the photos.

The exterior of Columbia's building looks like a prison, which I find fitting.

While I see where you're coming from, it's worth noting that New York has an outstanding history of fine prison architecture.booyakasha wrote:The exterior of Columbia's building looks like a prison, which I find fitting.

If those are very good looking girls then I am George Clooney. Maybe I am spoiled by going to UG in the SEC but if those "very good looking girls" are a selling point, then either your eyesight or your standards are pretty poor.PostHawk wrote:--ImageRemoved--

I actually just typed in pepperdine in the google machine and thought it'd be funny to put the picture up... also it was to show the contrast between the geeky guys and the good looking girls and yes I think at least half of those girls are pretty hott so in conclusion I guess it's odd to have george clooney on tls but welcome nonetheless...dabbadon8 wrote:If those are very good looking girls then I am George Clooney. They're definitely not bad looking... i think I'd need something without the ridiculous makeup for a better "comparison" ... truth be told I prefer sporty girlsdabbadon8 wrote:For comparison:PostHawk wrote:I actually just typed in pepperdine in the google machine and thought it'd be funny to put the picture up... also it was to show the contrast between the geeky guys and the good looking girls and yes I think at least half of those girls are pretty hott so in conclusion I guess it's odd to have george clooney on tls but welcome nonetheless...dabbadon8 wrote:If those are very good looking girls then I am George Clooney. Michigan is looking better and better...

But seriously, Michigan's campus really is unbelievable. It's like something out of Harry Potter (in a good way)...

Man, I've lived in Washington for 6 years, went to UW, and it's great, but you are going way overboard.
Adjudicator wrote:I visited Lewis & Clark and I feel confident in saying that it is, in fact, the most beautiful law school campus anywhere.smartin wrote:I almost applied to Lewis & Clark based on the pictures of foliage around the law library.
It is far off from the regular L&C campus, on its own, practically in the woods, bordering right up against a 600 acre forest. The main office building of the law school is 2 stories tall and the entire back side is a massive 2-story window that looks right into this wall of thick green forest.
The classrooms that I saw have high vaulted wood ceilings and lots of windows. The one thing I noticed about the whole school was that wherever you are, there's almost always a window, and out of every window you see this beautiful forest.
Also, they have this really cool amphitheater right in the center that faces into the forest, as well.
Maybe L&C should publish their own rankings like Cooley does, and use "natural beauty" as one of the largest factors.
Also, I have to give a shout out to UW. Just because Seattle is the greatest city in the world, in the most beautiful state in the world.
After all, on a clear day you can see snowy Mt. Rainier from the fountain on UW's campus. Mt. freaking Rainier. Beat that.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
