Vandy was a fun time but there was no information presented on financial aid or LRAP. So if you have questions you might want to go to admissions directly during one of the breaks.

It doesn't take much investigating on their website to gather that their LRAP is exceptionally terrible.

Has anyone heard from their student host yet? I'm starting to wonder if I actually have one or if I need to look into extending my hotel reservation.

Other people had heard from theirs, so I just assumed I hadn't been given one and booked an extra hotel night accordingly. Kinda sucks. I wish they would've notified us that they ran out of people.

My didn't notify me until the week of the March visit. You're probably fine. Though, I did hear about a 1L who didn't realize the person he'd been emailing wasn't coming til April and hadn't ever emailed the person coming in March...

I'm planning on visiting Third Man Records, Jack White's record label on Saturday. I just checked and there's a show there on Friday night. It's a rapper named Black Milk and it's only $10. Anybody game? ATR, I'm looking at you. --LinkRemoved--

Also, I saw on the list of things to do near Nashville: Jack Daniels distillery. Anyone with a car???

I've actually listened to some of Black Milk's stuff; he's not bad, but I dunno about the show. I may be up for it depending on what the law students have planned for Friday night.

And, yeah like rad said, Lynchburg is a dry county (and a decent distance from Nashville). I still need to get around to touring the distillery, though. It's a cool thing to have in the state.

Yeah figured as much, there at least should be an unofficial ASD meetup after Friday's events are over. Penn's (planned) friday night out was kickass.
