Looking to lateral to Husch Blackwell or Polsinelli. Any comments or suggestions on which one which firm might be the best. Pay is about the same. Denver. Thanks.

Denver attorney here with friends at both firms.

I'd pick Polsinelli in most situations. Larger firm in town and seems to want to be a major player in Denver, decent partnership prospects (at least non-equity), and a pretty varied practice. Definitely pick them if you're doing healthcare work after nearly all of Husch's team in Denver decamped for Greenberg.

What year would you be coming in, and what's the salary progression look like?

You’re probably right about Polsinelli being the best choice, only negs I heard, insurance is pretty TTT and no Christmas party, no biggie but weird. Coming as 3rd year. Figure close to 200. Or, no thanks.
