If we're all at the median index then I actually feel pretty good about our chances of getting accepted. Their median will probably rise this year, but still, close to half of the incoming class will have worse numbers than ours.

Index: 3.423

So I suppose the magic date to start losing sleep again is March 1st. That's the day people seem to think they'll start looking at the EA Deferred group in earnest.

And here I was thinking Cornell is not one of those predictable numbers machines.

In case anyone cares, LSP's "median" index of 3.402 is just splitting the difference between the 25% and 75% indices and so it isn't a true median. Plug in Cornell's median GPA and LSAT numbers and you get a 3.429 index.

Here are the numbers for 25% - median - 75%

3.286 - 3.429 - 3.519

Just to add a bit of context. I still like our chances.

I'll be happy at this point if we ONLY have to wait until mid-march.

Hm... same boat. Just over the median index.
