Re: St. John's 2013
Hi. I was wondering what my chances are for acceptance. I have a 154/3.56 GPA URM. What's the median for the school?

Re: St. John's 2013
I would say you have a decent chance if you applied PT. If you look at TLS stats, it looks like they accepted a URM with a 153 and 3.6 with a 15K scholly, so you are right in that ballpark. FT I am not so sure.
Although, presumably you applied late to the cycle, so that could hurt you either way.

157, 3.6, FT, orig applied in Nov but retook feb LSAT so I guess the complete date was around 3/10. Any thoughts if I should go here over NYLS w $15K. The biggest thing holding me back is location and money.

Re: St. John's 2013
IMHO, Def. St. John's over NYLS. I got 20K in NYLS, but I still would not even consider it is St.John's were to offer me a seat, no $. The ratings of this school are really going up, they are 4th in Bar passage rates in NY (Columbia, NYU, Fordham) and they are really climbing up the charts. Moreover, there have been posts in many of the topics here that predict that SJ will beat Brooklyn Law next year, rating wise. Again, this may be just for me, but going to Queens is worth it, even w/ no money at all.bulletreverb wrote:157, 3.6, FT, orig applied in Nov but retook feb LSAT so I guess the complete date was around 3/10. If the FT acceptance #'s above are correct, I don't understand why I was waitlisted for the PT Evening Program. I feel insulted.

I've been following your LSN profile for a while. Did you apply to St. John's P/T?

I am very interested in this to. But do you have any reason to believe that they offer scholarship money after seat deposits are made?

Re: St. John's 2013
Just got my schedule!
Check your UIS account, under your email addresses your new St. John's email address will be listed (at least mine was.) Log on to St. John's Central using this email address and your pin number for UIS, and under My Courses will be your schedule. I didn't get any email or packet from them with this info yet, I just found it on my own, so your results may vary.

Omg! that is great news! So what section are you in and do you have a roster online that will be able to tell you if I am in your section as well, since of course my pin will not let me in and no one is around at 11 at night to reset it for me. Clearly, the law school should think about hiring new people to be available 24/7 at our beck and call

I don't have a roster I'm in section C, here's the class schedule w/ days and times, once you do know your section! --LinkRemoved--
