St. John's 2013

Post by ndirish2010 » Wed Dec 16, 2009 5:02 pm

Anyone else out there applying, or receive a decision yet? Do they have a status checker system? I got an email on 12/4 saying that they had received my application, but nothing since then.

I haven't seen a status checker, and haven't heard much. I applied 10/31.

Check LSN, some people got in with full scholarships already, but that seems to be it.

There is definitley no status checker. And if you went complete 12/4, you probably have to wait a little longer than that. I applied 11/17 and heard a little over a week later but that was only because of auto-admit numbers I think--they are probably still reviewing the pool

Thanks, yea I wasn't expecting a decision this month or even next month, I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard more than I had regarding their application status.

Congrats for getting in, btw

Good luck everyone else

I sent my application to St. John's in October and I haven't heard a peep since then. I visited their campus over Thanksgiving and walked around the law building for a bit of time. LSN shows only those few people who have been admitted, which is rather odd. You'd think a few more decisions would have been made by now...

I just received an acceptance letter in today's mail with a scholarship offer of $27,500 per year (must be in top one-half of class). It came in a small envelope.

Just got letter, in with full tuition scholarship (doesnt give an actual number so hopefully that means it adjusts to rising costs???) my numbers are 3.58 / 161 / 163 so im pretty happy with this.

To be honest I didn't think it was too likely I'd end up going here but given the offer / being from new york, it might be #1 out of my acceptences thus far (altho Rutgers-N and baylor are close)

gl everyone.

I got in today too. However, mine didn't come with any scholarship offer so that means I will NOT be going to SJU in the fall.

In today as well, but no mention of scholarship. Wow, that's pretty ridiculous. Mparty, what were your numbers?

Congrats on the scholarship. Did the scholly info come in a separate envelope?

Got in today. Full tuition scholarship if I stay in top half of class.
Submitted mid-Dec. 3.7/169ish.

Would love to visit the school, not sure if they'd pay for a plane ticket from CA.

How did people hear back from them? They don't have a status checker right?

In yesterday w/ full tuition via standard envelope. I hadn't heard a word from them since going complete, aside from invitations to online chats. Has anyone been awarded a scholarship +stipend?
