In today via snail mail. As the other poster said, that is the acceptance package. Anyone know when they start sending out the golden tickets?

(Scholarship info)

Congrats to those accepted; I'm still waiting. Is anyone else here between Emory and UGA? Especially for working in Atlanta?

Has everyone who sent in the applications before December gone complete yet? I have one email from them saying they have requested and received my LSAC report. I haven't heard from them since 11/16! :-/

I'm in the same boat! I've even emailed the admissions office an addendum, and nothing :( It's that good old slow southern charm maybe?

Lol perhaps... But, their "charm" is slowly wearing off with each day that passes!

Very true, very true. Schools that prove nonexistent after applying are not really charming in my book. One email since applying in November is not looking good for Emory.

I called them up and talked to the lady on the phone. I sent my app in before December, and she told me that while they didn't have my official December LSAT score, they could look it up on the internet, so my file was, for all intents and purposes, complete. She was pretty nice.

Finally got the packet today, they sent it to my school address so I had to have them forward it back to me. Did anyone else get a note about their PS from the dean on it? Just trying to see if I'm special......

Yeah, but it wasn't about the PS. 8)

Just a heads up for when you guys are looking for places to live: Avoid Campus Crossing like it was the plague. It was the new apartment complexes they put up for grad students only and they had a shuttle during visiting day from the law school to the complex. Don't be fooled. Not even halfway through the lease and they have a terminator come every week because of insect problems, several pipes were installed with holes in them causing mold, and yesterday a water pipe broke causing 1000 gallons of water to flood the 4th and 3rd floor. Not even half way through the lease and it is practically falling apart. If you are doing an apartment complex, do Post.

Got my packet last week with a letter dated 12/31. Mine had a little note about my studies, so maybe we're special, but I'm not holding my breath. The handwriting was pretty crazy, had a bit of a hard time reading it, but I really appreciate that he took the time to write something.

I had a note about my PS as well. Now I feel considerably less special.
