Not waitlisted at all. Just decision rendered. Should I be excited that I didn't get any e-mail?

Jesus christ I am going to be rabidly checking my e-mail every second and praying that GULC doesn't e-mail me. lol.

Maybe. I know my batch received our WL emails simultaneously with our status going DR. But other batches have had to wait for their emails for no apparent reason.

I'll just keep praying I don't get an e-mail. I really want to go there. I mean my numbers are supposed to be good for that school (3.4 is 25th percentile gpa, 169 is 75th) so hopefully man, hopefully.

Nice LSAT, damnit man, I studied my ass off and was PTing at 175, and then I ended up with a 169. Ah well. 175 would have been so relieving.

Another SPWL'er here. Went DR 3/15 on 3/9, asked about it, was told it was accidental, then got an update from my contact that hints I should be expecting a snail mail acceptance soon. Still no admitted students website access though.

I say accepting me would have been easier for everyone involved.

The people presumably getting in on off the SPWL now have such good numbers that I can't fathom why they weren't just admitted in the first place.

I don't think it's premature to congratulate everyone with a DR. We know it's not a WL, and they're not going to start rejecting from the SPWL in March before they've even hit a seat deposit deadline, let alone rejected the lower tiers of the WL.

I think that the general consensus was that the SPWL was either YP or "Whoops we've admitted too many people." If it were YP, then those who were cleared off were those who expressed interest (e.g., my requesting a visit to the school showed interest). If it were the too-many-admissions business, now that they have a clearer picture of how many people are attending, they are able to let in those they wanted to let in in the first place.

Or, I could be way off base here.

Yes, either way, I think rapid admissions letters/calls to many among the SPWL crowd was to be expected. And for the rest of us loiterers in the waiting room, I don't think this SPWL movement affects the future waitlist movement to come starting sometime in April. Of course, this applies more to everyone else.

like beef wellington said, nobody knows. i receiced my WL immediately after the DR message, others had to wait up to a week.

I'm not sure when the letter was postmarked, as my girlfriend got the letter for me. I'll update when I find out.

I was put back under review on 3/12 after receiving my SPWL 2/17. I got DR 3/15 and received my letter today.

Mine either. I am stuck at DR 2/25, the day I got the SPWL email. I guess I wasn't quite as "special" as the email tried to make me believe...

Guys that got off the SPWL, can you get into the ASW now? I have the same dates and reached DR 3/15 on the SPWL; but still no letter or word and still can't get into the ASW...

Well, if it makes things any better for other waitlisters, I believe I phrased my LOCI in a way that guarantees me rejection at this point based on what I'm seeing. I was not aiming for rejection and just told them my real situation but I can't see them having any reason to pick me over someone else at this point, good luck to you guys!

Were the original DR dates of everyone admitted so far 2/14 or earlier? Or am I just not loved?
