Scholarship offer came. $20,000/year. GPA reqs are the same as angioletto's. 3.15+ to keep all of it and 2.80-3.15 to keep half.

In via email with $7500 a year. I was hoping for more money, but my stats aren't too stellar.

I originally went to committee review on 1/21, but it updated on 2/18 and then decision rendered today.

Thanks. Not 100% set on it yet because I still have 9 more schools to hear from. But Case just went very high up my list behind UGA.

Congrats, are you (and everyone else) planning on being there for ASW. I'm thinking about going there, but some schools conflict with it so I have to make a decision.
I am planning on being there. I haven't seen much info about it except for the dates but I should be able to make it.

I was accepted to Case and received a scholarship offer, but I never had an interview. I didn't think they did interviews. Maybe that would have helped me get a bigger offer? Did anyone else have an interview?

"Committee Review: 2/18/2010"

then updated to

"Committee Review: 2/24/2010"

Anyone have any experience with updated review dates for Case Western? I hope it's a good sign..

I went into committee review on January 20, and then re-updated to committee review February 9 and I was accepted on February 19.

Don't listen to Huey Lewis either. Th-th-th-they say the harder rock and roll is in Cleveland, and from what I've seen......... Huey Lewis is completely wrong.

"Come and look at both of our buildings......"

I really love those videos. Very funny.

I don't really know how to describe Cleveland as far as how "fun" it is because I don't know anything else. I've been in this area my whole life. There are good restaurants. There is the Rock Hall and the Great Lakes Science Center. There are museums, bars, zoos, malls, movie theaters. I'm not sure what certain people are looking for in a city or the areas around it but if you can live with the cold and the snow I do think Cleveland can be a very fun place to live. We do have Lake Erie (which yeah, isn't the cleanest lake in the world, but it can be fun when the Tall Ships come into town or to go to Edgewater to watch 4th of July fireworks).

There are also things you can do a few hours from here on weekends, like taking a ferry to Put-in-Bay, driving up to Cedar Point, going to Amish country. Of course, those are limited to the warmer months. There are ski resorts for winter if you enjoy skiing. About 40 minute South of Cleveland you can find some great county fairs in the summer. (Medina, Wayne, etc)

That's what I know about Cleveland. I don't think any of it makes it a particularly spectacular city, but it certainly isn't totally void of fun.

I'm sure it's a cool city. The lake is a huge bonus. How does it compare to Cincinnati?
