I'm curious, what did your note say? Mine was something along the lines of "It was nice to meet you." I visited the SU table at the LSAC forum.

EDIT: Congrats, Sarlis! I hope this is one of many acceptances for you, as your PS was kickass.

Yeah, I had the Christmas card with handwritten note. Nice touch...I always like when someone actually touched the card.

I got the financial aid packet in the mail today, but I was accepted and already received my packet.

FWIW, I did not receive an email letting my know I was accepted, it was on my status checker.
So, maybe check there to see if you have a decision yet

For those who were accepted already: did you apply for a summer or fall start?

I'd also be interested in hearing if anyone had any insights into how the summer start would affect financial aid timing, if at all.

Thanks

Got an E-Mail saying they want to review me for their Access Admissions Program - which is a summer start program for students whose numbers don't necessarily reflect true potential.

Should get an ultimate decision in April.

Did you indicate a summer start on your app? What are your numbers if you don't mind?

2.9, 150, URM (AA Male).

I applied for full-time fall entry on my application. Note that the Summer Entry program and the Access Admissions Program are different: http://www.law.seattleu.edu/Office_and_ ... ptions.xml

Admitted as of 01/08/10. 3.30 GPA / 156 LSAT. Received notice from my online status checker...still waiting for the snail mail docs. Feel free to PM me if you're in...Seattle U is one of my top choices being from Washington and wanting to get back to the PNW. Anyone else interested in Sports / Entertainment Law??

Seattle's one of my top choices because of their Sports & Entertainment Law program, but I feel like they're probably geared more towards sports than entertainment. If you're into sports law, you might want to check out their joint J.D./MSAL program (Master in Sports Administration and Leadership).

I have heard about Seattle U having a great Sports/Entertainment Law program, but have not found much literature on their website about it other than Entertainment and Sports Law Association...do you have any links that provide more information?

Also...is anyone that has been accepted already thinking about the Early Start option in the summer? I'm debating whether it would be worth it to more up to Seattle early and get some credits out of the way...

http://www.seattleu.edu/artsci/msal/Inner.aspx?id=17976 <--- joint J.D./MSAL program.

Their IP focus also includes some sports/entertainment law classes: http://www.law.seattleu.edu/Academics/C ... .xml#focus

There's also an Arts Legal Clinic: http://www.law.seattleu.edu/Academics/L ... #artslegal

Hope this helps. I personally am planning on applying for the MSAL program if I go to Seattle, but you can't apply for it until the spring.

I received the admissions packet yesterday. Of the several schools I've been accepted to, Seattle U put together the coolest, most helpful package.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
