It's too early to start worrying. :)

Yeah, I think this is still really early in the L&C admissions process. I posted some links earlier this week (pg 2 of thread) to the LSN data on the last two admissions cycles. In '08 only a few folks heard by late December, and last cycle no one on LSN heard until mid-January.

north end of southern california, on the 101

seems like the mailing probably occurred this past weekend or monday, a lot of people got their packets yesterday

it might take a while if they send everything in bulk to a large mail processing center, then youre mail would like go in a circle and back to portland i think
My numbers are iffy at best for L&C but I wouldn't be surprised if they stack mail in a way that gets it to people at around the same time. Since I'm right in town and did my undergrad nearby, I may not be super high on their priority list. I would be surprised to hear from them this early in the cycle anyhow.

In! 17k per year dean's scholarship, just have to maintain a 2.95 gpa. Does anyone know what the median is?

edit: it looks like 2.95 is right around the median. I wonder if they will remove the gpa requirement if asked nicely?

In as well with $20K/year renewable on same terms. Also given a travel stipend to visit their law preview days in March. Very tempting offer all things considered.

Congrats to admits, and best wishes to all who are playing the waiting game. Is anyone thinking they will attend L&C? I sure am... Super psyched about Portland/animal law studies... Woo hoo!

When did you go complete? Because we are basically number twins, and some money would be fantastic.

That's about 6 days earlier than me, so hopefully I will have some good news soon.

I just got a small envelope in the mail. Immediately assumed it was a rejection letter. Turns out it was just a letter telling me that they had a career services office. Frustrating to say the least.

So happy to get in here! No scholly or travel stipend though. Way above LSAT 75% and way below GPA 25%

I will request a travel stipend and scholly though

Congrats! I too am very interested in the animal law studies at L&C, so it's one of my top choices, depending on $$$. I hope I get similar news soon - but I didn't apply till late Nov. so I might be waiting awhile. And I don't expect to get that much scholarship, though if I did it would likely make up my mind to attend!

Stats?

Yeah. It would have been pretty hilarious if they had offered it. I'll just use my transit pass to get there. :D

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
