Northeastern 2010
So I just checked the status checker. It says the decision has been mailed.
Anyone else have the same thing?
It's not really my top choice, but I'm so nervous. I feel sick.

Re: Northeastern
Same here. I feel good about it though, as I'm pretty sure it's their first round of acceptances. I find it hard to believe that that would be rejections.

Re: Northeastern
My file stayed at complete. They didn't change it to say decision, just added it under the mailingskm23 wrote:My file was complete on 11/23. Did both of yours ever go to "review" or just straight to decision?
Good Luck!

Re: Northeastern
ditto!
As for the EA, I applied 10/23. So I guess it was EA...
LSN tells me that they sent out their first round of acceptances mid-late December for the past 2-3 years. I don't know if that's a good sign or not.
Does anyone know if
a) they send the decisions to the permanent or current address?
b) if it's just a plain envelope or a big packet?

Re: Northeastern
My status checker says "decision mailed" as well. My status (upper right) still reads "Complete File." I applied EA and was complete in late October.
I would hope that the first round of communication they're sending out (unless I'm missing some activity from them already this cycle) wouldn't be rejections, but I guess you never know. My numbers are right at their 75th percentiles.
Good luck!!

I could be wrong, but I feel as thought it had to be indicated on the app if you wanted to be considered for EA?jaskat wrote:ditto!

I don't know either of those things, but I am in Boston so hope to have my decision tomorrow. I'll let you know!

Re: Northeastern
You're right. They address the difference between EA and RD on their website, and you have to check the box stating you want to be considered for EA.vapourgypsy wrote:I could be wrong, but I feel as thought it had to be indicated on the app if you wanted to be considered for EA?jaskat wrote:ditto!

Re: Northeastern
Really? I thought Northeastern in particular just sent out decisions, (whether acceptance or rejection), by regular mail.acecrusher06 wrote:i think you're in. most rejections are now by email.

Re: Northeastern
Sorry to double post, but just to edit I applied RD. Just looked at the LSAC pdf of my file.

It's lucky only if we get accepted. Otherwise, I think you're the lucky one.

Re: Northeastern
I sent my application on October 23rd and went complete on the 26th. I just looked at the status checker and it states the decision letter was mailed today, 12/07. I'm very interested in NUSL, so I'm hoping this is good news. I applied RD, so I didn't expect to hear from them any time soon. Now I'm nervous...

Re: Northeastern
My status checker looks the same, still says "Complete File" as of 11/06, originally sent my app in on 10/26. They're one of my top choices, if not my top choice overall.

Re: Northeastern
I just checked too, I applied on December 3rd and was complete on the 4th and the decision was mailed on December 7th, I am somewhat scared that I was rejected because I made a stupid mistake on my PS for them, although my lsat score is above their 75th %, but we will see.

Re: Northeastern
That seems ridiculously fast for a decision. Are they moving at lighting speed or what?

Re: Northeastern
Applied RD on 11/2; complete on 11/6; current status is, "file complete;" DECISION MAILED. Hm... we shall see! Good luck everyone!

Re: Northeastern
Now I'm a little worried mine doesn't say Decision Mailed
If they had a binding ED program I would have done it, I want to go that bad.
