Mine keeps changing too. I think they are just playing with our hearts.

I hope it is an indicator of moving onto the full adcom as supposed just DM + Reject. Wishful thinking. But anybody knows?

My IR date changed once during the process and I had my decision two weeks after that.

Went complete on the 5th of Feb and now:

Current Status: In Review
Current Status Date: 2/16/2010

Wish me luck! What was the normal turn around for you guys between in review and being notified?
How did they notify you of acceptance?

Snail mail, small envelope. It will say "Congratulations" on the front if you are accepted

Seems like there are two batches going out each month, one at the beginning, one at the middle. Right?

Just warning you guys. Not a good sign to be in my batch. My numbers are really bad. 3.61/153 (I know, I know, I'm retaking in June)

Nope, I haven't heard anything yet. Your profile is really interesting! I am/was also a teacher (2nd grade, leaving at the end of this year for law school). Are you going to Maryland next year, or does your deposit hinge on financial aid?

Why thank you! Unfortunately my decision depends on $$ :( Bad credit from the ex makes private loans impossible, and my mom makes less than I do, lol. I would love to go to Maryland, but I can't go to a school that is more than the 20k you get for student loans. Then I can only go if they either allow me to work or cost significantly less than 20k. I sooo wish I could find a rich benefactor :)

Maryland is definetely one of my dream schools. I have to admit that this would be the first rejection that would really break my heart. Thanks for the support you all.

A reject from Maryland would break my heart as well. It would REALLY break my mother's heart though, she really wants me to come back to Maryland for Law School after being away for UG. Fingers stayed crossed.

Question to all of you PT fellow applicants out there, what are your plans during the day when moving into town for the night school. I am just curious if you are not local here in DC and Baltimore, would the adcom have any consideration on who is financially capabal or not? Or did any of you express how to support yourself in PS because I know scholarship is tight. Thanks.

Study and work?

They don't care who is "finacially capabal" It's called loans!

Like it - very positive. Don't PT people have jobs or family usually. That was my original assumption that people choose PT in a local school. But loans help. Then why choose a PT program instead?

A good chunk of PT applicants apply because they feel they have a greater chance of admission through that route than FT.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
