Yes, but hoping to not have to go that route. I'm also waiting to hear back from Charlotte Law. To be honest, I'm not sure why they (WFU) haven't denied me yet, judging by the data on lsn. My only thought is that they might save some spots for wild card applicants.sufjan wrote:sorry, have you thought about re-taking?

Well, that's good (er..I guess) to know. But why would they not deny people yet? Seems a little late in the process and they seem to be sending out acceptances almost daily.

A lot of schools don't start sending out any rejections until later. I anticipate some big waves from a lot of schools soon.jayce504 wrote:statuscheckerssuck wrote:Not to be negative...but wake hasn't rejected anyone yet.jayce504 wrote:Yes, but hoping to not have to go that route. Re: Wake Forest 2010
don't put too much stock into Lawschoolnumbers.com.
I had a "weak consider" for Wake Forest and Georgia.
Georgia has offered me a nice scholarship and wake has offered me half off. LSN is overrated.

I think you mean lawschoolpredictor.com, but I totally agree. LSP has me at 'deny' for WF, however I was admitted less than two weeks after I applied. But if we are referencing the 148, that is a lot to overcome.Nicholasnickynic wrote:don't put too much stock into Lawschoolnumbers.com.

Georgia has offered me in-state rates for the first year (15k in savings) and wake has offered me half off. LSN is overrated.
On a happier note, two days until maybe us 1/29 acceptances hear about $.

And to that point, LSP has me as a consider for WF, but I was Waitlisted. It might not be a reject but still sucks. Just goes to show that you never know!moandersen wrote:I think you mean lawschoolpredictor.com, but I totally agree. Re: Wake Forest 2010
From last cycles thread, "Decision Letter Pending" resulted in a delayed acceptance from what I can tell from reading the 2009 WFU thread.
But so far this cycle everything was emailed. Do you guys think they are doing things differently this cycle, and "decision letter pending" is the new euphamism for rejection?

My status was also changed to decision letter pending. For those of you who have already been accepted, did your requirements list and mailings list update or was everything cleared out? I guess we'll know either way in a few days.

Re: Wake Forest 2010
Maybe its just wishful thinking, but it seems like last cycle, if you got this status update before March, it meant admit. It seems from reading the thread that people waited in limbo with this status for a few days before it changed to congratulations or something. But it could mean something different this year I guess.BlueHeel wrote:From last cycles thread, "Decision Letter Pending" resulted in a delayed acceptance from what I can tell from reading the 2009 WFU thread.

Is anyone else going to the admitted students day on the 15? I registered and booked my hotel but have not heard any word from Wake about it.

I don't feel left out
I got a call from a Wake student, even though I missed it.

Check your spam folder. I got a quick email confirmation, but for some reason it went to my spam folder, even though nothing else from Wake has.

Re: Wake Forest 2010
I just checked and my status said "Decision Letter Pending 2/11/10" Any idea what that means? Based on my stats and LSN, I fall under the dreaded WL, but I was wondering if anyone who was accepted had the same status?

I would say most likely that it would be either a WL or a Rejection, here's to the former for you bud!harry0569 wrote:I just checked and my status said "Decision Letter Pending 2/11/10" Any idea what that means? A batch of WL went out by email a couple of weeks ago (including one to me). The only things we haven't seen from Wake yet are letters and rejections. My guess is the two are going to appear together. I hope not for your sake, but prepare yourselfdhatfie1 wrote:I would say most likely that it would be either a WL or a Rejection, here's to the former for you bud!harry0569 wrote:I just checked and my status said "Decision Letter Pending 2/11/10" Any idea what that means? From their email: "Decision Letter Pending- A decision has been reached. Your decision letter will be mailed out with the next batch so you can expect it within 2 weeks. Some decisions may be emailed instead of sent via post."LadyTarHeelian wrote:A batch of WL went out by email a couple of weeks ago (including one to me). As I said before that no one has given there opinion on here yet...last year they did the same thing and before March many people got in via snail mail. So it's not outside the realm of possibility that acceptances are coming via USPS. Perhaps its wishful thinking, but theres certainly precedent.

Is it even worth calling the Admissions Office to clarify?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
