bconly wrote:The ED ppl should be hearing soon, but when I talked to their admissions ppl, they said they don't even start reviewing until after their college recruitment tour finishes, which was on Dec. 3. They probably started reviewing the ED apps this week, and RD ppl shouldn't expect anything until early feb at the earliest.
Did you read the thread? Some RDs have already received acceptances.

May I ask when did you apply and when you went complete?

To quote their status page:

"Received Date Notice: The Admissions office recently updated LSAT Scores, Letters of Recommendation and LSDAS Report information for a majority of our applicants. You may have noticed that the received date for these requirements has been updated to a more recent date (even if your file did not have any updates). This is completely normal and the new date does not put your application at any disadvantage."

I submitted 11/30, went complete on 12/07. I imagine I'll be waiting a bit.

My status also says there was a decision made today, December 11th.

I applied on 11/6 and went complete on 11/17.

Applied ED. So, I'm crossing my fingers for good news!

Additionally, I'm RD, though I would think that hearing this early in the cycle is good. Looking at threads from last year, no one was rejected from Loyola until March. And it just doesn't make sense to reject people this early when most applications aren't in.

I hope so. My LSAT pretty much sucked, Im a little below the 25th percentile, but my GPA is near the 75th percentile. I am also a URM (Hispanic/latina). Pretty good softs as well.

My status checker just changed to Decision...it's in the mail as of yesterday. Does anyone know if they send you merit scholarship info right away, or does that come separately? I would really like to know if I'm getting money... :)

Scholarship info comes with it. Seeing the numbers in your profile I think its safe to assume that you will get quite a large one; they saw fit to give me roughly 2/3 tuition.

Hmm, looks like they are trying to reel in some GPA's first - I was complete a while back, have heard nothing, in LA, way above 75th LSAT, above 25th GPA...

not sure if that's true. i was in your same situation, but maybe cause i was ED. i had a 164 but only a 3.1, 3.3 cumulative which is below the 25% GPA. i

Yeah, I did get it on that Monday though. I was mildly surprised since my current address in Ann Arbor is not exactly nearby.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
