Moritz has this program in DC http://moritzlaw.osu.edu/programs/washington/index.php. Anyone else complete and under review since 12/30? I feel like I should've heard back from them by now, but maybe its because I am out of state, so it takes longer?

I've been complete and under review since mid-Jan. Still waiting... According to them, your residency has absolutely no effect on your chances of admission.

Sameeee here...but I think that's a pretty universal case at this point, I haven't seen a whole lot of people who've received decisions since going under review around 12/29 (which is when I went Complete, UR). It says on the status checker website it would take 6-8 weeks, with next week being week 8, so here's to hearing soon!crm wrote:Anyone else complete and under review since 12/30? Re: THE Ohio State University 2013
That's really weird... I applied on Jan 16, complete on Jan 26, and decision rendered on Feb 8... On about Feb 14 I got a scholarship via email. 164/3.66 out-of-state. I'm thinking they might be big on soft skills? I took the LSAT twice, first time I got 154, but I also have a unique story/life experience. I'm sure you guys will hear soon, or I would go ahead and email to check on the status and see if there is anything missing from your application packet.dhatfie1 wrote:Sameeee here...but I think that's a pretty universal case at this point, I haven't seen a whole lot of people who've received decisions since going under review around 12/29 (which is when I went Complete, UR). I surely hope they just missed something! I really love tOSU, and my stats are 164/3.4 with a strong upward grade trend. If you don't mind me asking, was the scholarship pretty substantial??? Thanks!roguey wrote:That's really weird... I applied on Jan 16, complete on Jan 26, and decision rendered on Feb 8... On about Feb 14 I got a scholarship via email. 164/3.66 out-of-state. Well, the scholarship is for 12k a year with a 2.5 GPA requirement. For the first year it isn't quite enough, unfortunately (I'm poooor), but if I were in-state, it would be very awesome. I'm upset that I don't think I'll be able to make up the 5k left over after student loans

Tough to say... I'm pretty sure Iowa places better through the midwest (including Chicago), but $$ is kinda important. It's still entirely possible that you'll receive $$ from Iowa, so here's hoping your decision gets a little easier!robin600 wrote:Congrats!!!!AMon2010 wrote:I just received my admittance email a few minutes ago... obviously great news! Oh dude, i would not say that at all. I hear Iowa is a slaughterfest for chicago (same with wustl nd, etc), atleast OSU places well in Cleveland, Columbus (duh), and Cincy. While you might not get Chicago, atleast you have a "home" market to fall back on.....that is, unless you like the idea of practicing corn law in des moinesthepcv wrote:Tough to say... Does anyone else have problems reaching admission office? I called many times and left voice messages too, but no one picked it up/returned my call. It seems like that they don't reply email in timely fashion as well......

Fair enough. Being from Ohio, I'm always gonna have a soft spot for OSU, but they need to offer me $$$ before I can consider them over Iowa (which offered me a full ride).chicoalto0649 wrote:Oh dude, i would not say that at all. Yea, I've sent them an LOCI in an e-mail no response, then a follow up e-mail no response and then a call which I also left a message and no response lol. Not sure what's going on...baboon309 wrote:Does anyone else have problems reaching admission office? I called many times and left voice messages too, but no one picked it up/returned my call.
