Re: Chapman
Chapman is a good school. It will be climbing into the top 100 soon into the same class as USF SCU and Loyola. It has a good rep in OC and I have heard only good things. It is not Harvard, but its a good school.
As for where else I am applying its too long a list for me to put here due to my lazness lol. Its mostly on my profile.

Re: Chapman
You are lucky to get in so quickly. My status went under review the exact same day as yours, but it still says under review. I called them and they said that it will take 6-8 weeks from when the app went under review. You getting in so quickly might mean they like you a lot and therefore can expect some scholarship money.
Congrats

Re: Chapman
Also, by looking at your stats, and considering that Chapman is not even in the top 100 yet, your are a lock for a large scholarship. It looks like you got into USD though and although I like Chapman, I wouldnt pass up SD for itsocalren wrote:Thanks Temka, I hope you are right .Temka wrote:You are lucky to get in so quickly. Re: Chapman
You are on to my thought process. I'm honestly at the hopeful for a UC or USC (to the point where I've begun the weird luck rituals and the usual goat sacrificing hopeful hahah j/k).

Re: Chapman
You have great stats, u should aim high. My LSAT is low and I refuse to take it again so that is why Chapman, USD are the kind of schools I am applying to. Good luck, you have the stats for the UC's and USC I would think

I was in by status checker last Wednesday and got a package on Saturday with a full tuition scholarship offer. I can't seem to find Chapman in the list of schools I can put on my TLS profile.

Re: Chapman
Chapman isn't a Tier 1 or "Top-Law-School" so it get's no love here. It seems to be a good school if you want to practice in the area and in our case don't want to drown in debt. Are you considering it over Tulane?twintipping_bumps wrote:I was in by status checker last Wednesday and got a package on Saturday with a full tuition scholarship offer. Re: Chapman
For Chapman I like the location, Entertainment Law Certificate, and full scholarship. For Tulane, I like the greater lay prestige and the scholarship is still pretty good. I still am waiting to hear from a bunch of other schools.socalren wrote:Chapman isn't a Tier 1 or "Top-Law-School" so it get's no love here. Are you from the Southern California area?

Re: Chapman
Applied 1/11, accepted 1/19. I had about their median in GPA, above 75th for LSAT.
This may be a silly question, but do applicants typically find out about scholarship offers through the snail mail acceptance letter?
