Do you expect scholarship money? I have a 160/3.62 and wasn't really sure I was in the range for $...which is one reason why USD is a bit further from the top of the list.

Hmm...maybe I should keep them more in mind and see if money comes my way.

It can't hurt! If I don't et scholarship money, I'll hope for some good need-based grants.

Thank you!! I applied on January 16, went complete on January 28, and the decision was rendered on February 4. I'm surprised it was so quick. The date on the scholarship letter is February 10, but I just got it today. It says $25k for the first year, renewable for 2nd and 3rd year if in the top 33% of the day division, with a potential total amount of $75k. Yo!, it is weird that the requirements are so different. I guess it's based on amount?

That is definitely wierd. I just checked the letter again 15 per year with top 50 requirement. I probably won't end up there though.

Did you apply part time as well? That would be really surprising, 5 points is a lot on the lsat.

Saw your post on Loyola, I am in an opposite situation... in at Loyola and still waiting on Pepp and USD. I was noticing that a lot of the people with similar numbers to me got into USD last year around late March. I just find it odd that they have their ASD on March 1st. Even if I got in, I would feel sort of like a second class citizen. Maybe that's just me being petty.

On the topic of what was being discussed before about applicants with higher LSATs being considered first, I'm not sure if they consider higher LSAT applicants first, but it certainly seems like they consider applicants with both strong LSAT scores and strong GPA first (according to LSN).

I've looked at trends for other schools and it seems like a lot of them go by when the apps are received. I mean there is the occasional applicant with a 175 who gets admitted like 2 days after they apply, but San Diego has the biggest disparity between dates applied/ what your GPa and LSAT look like.

When did you apply to Loyola? Ya, I feel silly calling Loyola and telling them I'm coming for a campus visit even though I haven't been accepted..oh well. (Sorry everyone for trailing off the San Diego topic)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
