As a 2/15er, I got mine in the mail today. Waitlist, which is a bit disappointing, but was the best to be expected... and certainly better than a rejection. =)

Sure! I'm less than an hour away from W&L's campus in VA, thus explaining the quick delivery, I think.

I want my letter! Mailed 2/12 and I'm getting impatient. 168/3.71 so I will be surprised if it's not acceptance. But I want to start planning my visit now and know for sure! C'mon mail!

Well I think that about settles the question: 2/15ers are the Waitlist group. :?

I am in Arizona so I am sure I will receive my w/l in the next few days.

I wonder if it makes more sense to visit W&L or go to the preview day (for waitlist considerations). I would do both if that wouldn't cost tons of money and be potentially very redundant.

I was on W&L waitlist last year, and they actually invite waitlist candidates for a preview day and they will also try and have an interview with you as well if they can fit you in.

Does that mean the next batch are rejections? Is that usually how this plays out?

To anyone planning on going to the ASW in March... I need help!

How in the world do people get to Lexington? I would be going from NYC and so far, have been unsuccessful in finding a way to get to this tiny ass town... anyone know?

You should be able to find a flight to Roanoke and then I believe W&L schedules rides from Roanoke to Lex (about an hour away). The information should be somewhere on the Admitted Students website, if I'm not mistaken.

Went on Expedia and flights are like $200 each way...

Is there a cheaper airfare?

NVM- found it. :)

What's the total amount of money that W&L reimburses for ASW--$300? If I want a single room for two nights, the amount goes to $200, right? I am also coming from the NYC area.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
