Re: Vanderbilt 2013
Can somebody PM me the details of the waitlist letter from Vandy? I finished a LOCI, but my waitlist letter was accidentally thrown out by a roommate. In particular, I am looking for the dean that I should address the letter to, as well as any specific instructions on the letter (email vs. snail mail, etc.)

Re: Vanderbilt 2013
I thought Vandy had mixed batches? Will compiling our numbers help?
Also, on LSN, all of the decisions since April 1 have been WL or reject. I'm hoping it's neither, but I wanted to convey what I saw!

I was also wondering have there been mixed batches? Also smart did you check last years cycle or are you only looking at this year?

Re: Vanderbilt 2013
I was looking at this year, but I just checked 2008/2009 cycle. There were only 4 of the ones that were posted that weren't WL or Rejection, although there were some people who posted that they came off of the waitlist after April 1. I wonder if they had already been waitlisted or if they were waitlisted that late and THEN accepted. I suppose there's only speculation about thatGTLAWSCHOOL wrote:I was also wondering have there been mixed batches? Also smart did you check last years cycle or are you only looking at this year?

Best of luck to all the applicants in this latest batch. Hopefully you'll be outright accepted and avoid waitlist land, although I'd enjoy some company there.

Hey, if anyone on here is a fo' sho going to Vandy, post it on the TLS class of 2013 thread! Vandy is having a poor showing right now.
Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear their decision or in WL purgatory. Hope you all hear soon.

I'm planning to attend Iowa with a nice scholarship. Of course, if Vandy lets me in, I'll go to Nashville without any hesitation. Good luck with the rest of your cycle, hope it's less chaotic than mineMatteliszt wrote:Wow just looked at your profile JOT, what a cycle. Re: Vanderbilt 2013
G'luck to those WL'ed. Keep staying in touch with the school, visit when you can, and in the meantime contact the other schools you're looking at to see if they'll release similarly detailed information about job prospects. Vandy and a few others are leading the charge but we need all of you to jump on board and start contacting the schools as well.
I'd also encourage those of you with acceptances to contact the school and see when they're going to release 2L summer employment information. It may be too late in the summer for you to make a decision on it, but it's worth letting them know you're interested so that they won't wait to get that information out. They've done it the last two years (with the Recruitment Handbook they publish) and we have high hopes they will continue publishing this information even though the job prospects are diminished from the previous year.
Anyways, ATL link on Vanderbilt/Law School Transparency: http://abovethelaw.com/2010/04/increasi ... o-be-done/
