Has anyone received financial aid information (as in loan and need based aid) from Vandy yet?

Nope. I have no idea what my need-based loans will be. And I kind of need to know soon.

I got a scholarship letter a couple weeks ago that had an amount and a line about how it was based on both merit and need. Don't remember if more stuff came with it (loan info and etc)... feel like it did, but can check in a few hours and report back.

My scholarship indicated that it was for merit and need based aid. However, like everyone else, I'm still waiting for loan information.

an adcomm at Vandy told me about the need aid. as far as loan packages I've got mine from two schools (WUSTL and Emory...still waiting on Vandy.

Just got that Vandy email about profs/the receptions. It's cool that tuition won't go up much over the next year, but is anyone else bummed that there's no alumni reception in DC. Illinois, Michigan, and even Wash freakin' U have alum receptions in DC. Why can't Vandy put something together near me? Hope that doesn't say something about the network here.

Wow, I'm surprised about the 3/16 WLs, I thought you guys had great numbers and would probably be in. Not sure how to feel now... guess I'm glad I still haven't had a decision but my numbers don't feel good anymore. C'mon Vandy

If you had an alumni interview the first time around and were waitlisted, is it wise to make a trip to Nashville to interview with an adcomm if you truly desire to get off the waitlist? Or is that superfluous?
