makes it easy when it's 0. In fact, it made the whole NA easy.

Question to all you discussing need access:

My parents have flat out refused to disclose all that detailed financial information. They said if I went to a school that required it I would have to deal without scholarships. Should I even submit Need Access with my info?

i remember something about that your entire need access application would be disqualified without all the required info. but i guess turn it in anyway and maybe write in the comment section that your parents refused to do it.

So, if I already filled out FAFSA and do not fill out need access, I can get federal loans, but will not be considered for financial aid from Davis/Hastings/UCLA whoever else requires NA? Sounds bad, even if these schools barely give out any money.

3.84,162 will get me in?

I don't understand what I should be looking at.

People say the LSAT range is 162-167, while on LSP and others say its 158-163. If it's the latter, then I assume I will get in.

I wouldn't be surprised if Davis' stats went up significantly this year, but their 25/75% LSAT was 160-164 for the LSAT last year. The numbers they have for 162-167 are for admitted students. Admitted students' stats are always higher than enrolled students stats.

so is the general consensus this:

if you parents make a good living, then there is no need to fill out need access because NA is for need based grants from the law schools. so even submitting the form with parent info will not hep at all, so its a waste of time then ?

no. Just because your parents make money doesn't mean they will be contributing to your education. There are questions on the NA that specifically ask what they have (in the past) and what they will be contributing. Never take yourself out of the running for aid!

Yikes, Squirtles W/L scares me.

164/ 3.6 (basically) with Davis Undergrad and WL'd?

That is not a good sign.

How many people do you think they've accepted already who haven't already withdrawn? 40, 60, 100?! They take 3-5 months to make a decision which leaves us maybe days to make up our minds on where to attend. The last scene from The Graduate comes to mind. FML.

my parent picked up the bill for all of my UG and i was not allowed to work that much in order to focus on school...

i also would not feel right about accepting need based grants, because some other people deserve(would benefit greater)grants a lot more than i....

and i say this with no ego, just trying to be fair about it...

otherwise, is it mandatory that i fil out need access ?

Sorry. That's really surprising.

I find it odd that they are giving out waitlists before accepting many people. Seems different than other schools.

i just looked at my status checker (I've been checking it every night at 6PM). If you have a decision it will have a blue link that says something like "decision has been mailed." Click on the link and it will have a pdf of your decision letter. Best of luck to you! :)

How long does it take after u go complete to get a decision?

Hmm I'm really hoping for davis with a 3.84, 162 from berkeley undergrad. How are the employment opportunities in the bay area?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
