So I had a dream (nightmare?) last night where I checked my status and it said, "Decision mailed." It wasn't a link however, and so I had no way of finding out the decision before I woke up, haha.

I don't know how this hasn't happen to me yet since I'm 162, 3.4? Perhaps they're considering some East Coast love? It's much more likely that my app fell in the trash though.pegleg wrote:NOOOOOOOnirwin wrote:Waitlisted 164 3.4 sigh

I hear Hastings has begun pulling from their wait-list. Any idea when Davis might start doing the same?

Hastings made all of their initial decisions by 4/30, correct? I assume that Davis will use the waitlist soon after they finish initial decisions.zeth006 wrote:I hear Hastings has begun pulling from their wait-list. Any idea when Davis might start doing the same?
So that should be, oh, August 2nd or so

That's a relief. I was thinking we'd have to wait until August of 2012.pegleg wrote:Hastings made all of their initial decisions by 4/30, correct? Nah, because by then all of your other offers would have expired and you'd be free to attend Davis. That would be simple and effortless, and it is therefore impossible.zeth006 wrote:That's a relief. Instead, Davis will wait until your #1 back up school calls you off the waitlist in late May and requires you to put down a $700 non refundable deposit within 72 hours. Then Davis will wait until you put your non-refundable deposit on an off campus apartment near your new law school. Then, when you've bought all the textbooks for your required courses that are completely different from their own textbooks, Davis will tell you that you made it off the waitlist. But only then.

Re: UC Davis
I think Davis automatically converts current first year applicants into transfer applicants by August...don't worry it's part of their "Holistic" approach (wait for a year of law school for a truly complete picture)pegleg wrote:Nah, because by then all of your other offers would have expired and you'd be free to attend Davis. Re: UC Davis
The deposit deadline for those of us that were accepted way late is 15 days after you receive your official letter. So it's fluid.

About 3 weeks from the acceptance date (5/5 - 5/26). I believe the 2nd deposit is due 6/15.hellolen wrote:for those recently accepted, when is your deposit deadline? or does anyone know when davis' final deposits are due so I can grasp davis' status

If it means an automatic transfer to any T20 school of my choosing, you won't hear any further complaints from me!

Wrote a LOCI and sent an additional LOR from employer. Please take me off your waitlist UCD.
