I had a link. But I thought the question was whether our links said more than "Decision mailed" vs. "Decision mailed - click here ...."

And as to paperless, they're not there yet: They put PDFs of all your packet info on the admitted students page, but they're also sure to mail it all.

So...if what people have been saying about April 30th is correct...will everyone who's had his/her application "Awaiting evaluation" or "In progress" all have their Accepts/WLs/Dings all in by tomorrow?

If so, time to take my laptop to Borders...again!!!!

Yeah, but if that were the case, wouldn't we have seen a ton of movement throughout this week? I wonder if the April 30 thing is really true.

+1. If I didn't want UCDavis so bad I would have rejected them before they could have rejected me (like I did for so many other schools).

Wouldn't it suck if they just WLed anybody they hadn't made a decision on by close of business CA time tomorrow?

I was thinking the same too. Adcomm decisions aren't exactly very much like Black Friday sales that occur once a year.

I spoke with someone in admissions the other day and it sounded like they'd given up any hope of having the rest of their decisions out by the end of the month. Some decisions might go out tomorrow, but probably not all of them.

I don't think all decisions are coming through before the end of the month. It's an artificial deadline that was probably set before the surge in applications.

Tried calling the admissions office- but no answer...has anyone left a message before and have you received a response?...The recording says they will call you back, but I'm just wondering since they don't really respond to e-mails. Also I realize today they are probably extra busy...Please let me know though if you have ever gotten a call back. thanks.

Never called, but unlike everyone else on this board I've never had a problem getting an immediate response via e-mail. I usually send my e-mails around 8am and have gotten responses as early as 10am. I don't e-mail "what's going with my application" type questions though. I'm guessing those will be summarily ignored at this point.
