Ugh, this waiting is rough. How many of you on the waitlist are looking for apartments at another school? Or are you waiting on that too?

Withdrew today leaving lots of scholly $$! It was tough to do...I really was blown away by WUSTL when I visited. But in the end, St. Louis isn't the right place for me. Good luck to all of you attending and on the WL!

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
Looks like they're still shooting for 163 as a 25th %ile for their LSAT numbers, whilst still keeping that 3.7 GPA median. WUSTL only rounds their GPA medians to the nearest tenth of a point, so a 3.65 rounds up to a 3.7.
Congrats to the person who got in, though. I'm super jealous.

How do you know this? Does that mean I just got unbelievably screwed with a 163/3.64?

Not a URM racially, but I am partially blind so I get diversity points that way I suppose. IDK about scholarship money, she said more details are coming in a few days.quadsixm wrote:Nice, Congrats!!robin600 wrote:OMFG OMFG OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously emailed Ms. Clifford last night a quick LOCI email saying how I just graduated with honors and was selected to speak at my graduation. I also told her about how I 4.0ed my last semester (and all previous semesters after my eight surgeries). She just sent me an email directly from her (with admissions CCed) saying how she'd personally love to have me in the class of 2013. I can't believe it right now! I'm still in complete shock!

all the people that have thus far been pulled from the hold list and waitlist had a 3.7 or higher.Regionality wrote:How do you know this? I don't have a 3.7, I have a 3.67 (with new grades, just submitted into LSAC but they haven't been processed yet). There is still hope people! The best advice I can give is to say YOU WILL ATTEND if given an offer!finalaspects wrote:all the people that have thus far been pulled from the hold list and waitlist had a 3.7 or higher.Regionality wrote:How do you know this? 3.65 or higher according to most recent post...bc WUSTL rounds up on their GPAs. F. M. Re: For WUSTL Applicants
I don't "know" anything, but that seems to have been the pattern, both now and in years past. Except their 25th %ile for LSAT was 162 last year, and now they seem to be accepting 163s or higher (with a few exceptions).Regionality wrote:How do you know this? But there's no reason to give up hope based purely on internet board speculation. The eventually might not need more 3.65 GPAs, and decide to add a bunch of 163+ people if they are close on GPA.

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
Sigh...I wish I knew how close they were to needing more high LSATs. Last year, it seemed that nearly everyone above median who wanted in got in eventually. This year seems like it may be a bit tougher, and there might not be room for everyone. But a handful of people got in last year after the second deposit deadline and the double deposit report.
I just wish I could start making living plans. I need to get my mind off this job.

If I get into WUSTL, I will probably withdraw, depending on the scholarship (as long as I don't get less money than others with my numbers got earlier in the cycle).J-tow10 wrote:J-Cougar, maybe I missed the memo, but did you decide to not attend UW?

How long did it take for her to respond? I sent her something last week and haven't heard back yet. I sent it from my work e-mail, though, and sometimes our server here is flaky about filtering out outside e-mail addresses. I'm worried that she responded but that I never got anything.robin600 wrote:Not a URM racially, but I am partially blind so I get diversity points that way I suppose. I get in-state tuition there so I would probably need some scholarship for it to make sense to withdraw.
