No, I am staying until Sunday. Since the school is hosting an optional "social event" at Nick's on Saturday, I assume they think everyone will be staying until Sunday.

Awesome, thanks! I just wasn't sure since it said "optional" for the social event, so I didn't want them to think I was trying to sneak in a second night if that's not part of the deal.RMstratosphere wrote:+1Halibut6 wrote:No, I am staying until Sunday. 1. Round-trip flight. We need to book this flight. Please provide the details of when/where you want to leave on Friday, March 26 and when/where you want to return on Sunday, March 28.
2. Ground transportation (shuttle) between the Indianapolis airport and Bloomington.
3. Hotel accommodations for Friday-Sunday. This will be a shared hotel room with another Spring Law Day participant.

I am losing my hair from waiting for this IUB decision! 163/3.6 and waitlisted at Illinois, but a full ride at Chicago Kent. Didn't apply till Christmas. Think I have any chance?

I think that it might be for full scholarship recipients only. I am not sure though.fenderjsm88 wrote:Wait...they pay for our hotel? I did not receive this email..Halibut6 wrote:1. Round-trip flight. Yeah, wow! Congrats Pippa on the full scholly to Kent, that is pretty cool. As far as your chances at IUB, it is tough to say. 164 seems to be the line they have drawn, but there of course have been plenty of exceptions. If it were earlier in the cycle I would say you have a good shot, right now it is probably 50/50. Good luck to you though, I am also eagerly awaiting a decision from IUB.fenderjsm88 wrote:What? Got a scholarship but didn't receive that!! Uncool... I didn't get an email with info about spring law day at all, but I think I got a postcard? I emailed yesterday asking about it, I'd like to go, and much more willing if they do all that. Never been to bloomington, accidentally looked up plane tickets the other day for a bloomington that I believe was actually in Illinois?

Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
So I just got an email inviting me to an admitted students event in Chicago, "congratulating me once again" on my acceptance, which is super cool except that I didn't even know that I was accepted. I think I will call to make sure that it isn't a horrendous clerical error. So this begs the question do they notify you of their decision by email or snail mail? Thanks!

I got my acceptance by snail mail and I've not heard of anyone being email accepted, not that it couldn't happen.kkmae wrote:So I just got an email inviting me to an admitted students event in Chicago, "congratulating me once again" on my acceptance, which is super cool except that I didn't even know that I was accepted. In my email, Dani Weatherford said the accommodations were included as part of the full scholarship. I don't think it's negotiable, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

1. Does Indiana do rolling admissions?
2. If Indiana does not do rolling admissions, does anyone know when the next batch of acceptances/rejections/wait lists is coming?

they do rolling, and they sent it out [decisions] yesterday. I went complete early January, found out by calling.

Me too! So I'm not the only one, I feel better now. And apparently they sent out decisions yesterday so perhaps ours is in the mail.

So I am currently the only person on LSN with an "A" next to my Accepted status. I think the rest of you should follow suit. Thanks.
