I recieved the PI Scholar award. 30,000 per year. They already sent me a letter stating i would get a 15,000 per year merit award. Now is this in leiu of or in addition to the merit award? How do i tactfully ask that?somethingclever wrote:Oh and to pre-empt any questions, 167 3.7xsomethingclever wrote:I applied for PI and they have already offered $45000. Pretty exciting, though I've got to wait a few days for exact details via snail mail. Anyone else apply for / hear about the PI schol?
I currently live in Peru and my mom had a missed call from BU today with no message. The admissions office knows i'm out of the country but i guess the finaid office hasn't gotten the memo. I really hope it's a PI scholarship offer. That would probably seal the deal for me.
I really wanted in to Cornell at the beginning of this cycle but they EA deferred me and and i can probably expect to wait until April and then get zero money even if I get in. On top of that I'd have to live in middle of nowhere Ithaca.
BU it is then? AHHHHH the suspense is killing me. Can't call back until tomorrow! Will keep you posted.

Anyone know when I should expect an offer if I'm getting one? 166, 3.87 GPA, suprised I didn't get some money with initial acceptance package. I'm a financial need student, expected parental contribution is 0, submitted my fafsa-needaccess stuff on the 29th/30th

I recieved the PI Scholarship as well. I wish they would send the details via email, but i'm pretty excited. It has made my choise beween, BU, WULS, and USC that much harder, though I think I am still leaning towards WULS. I plan on visiting on the 26th and that will probably tell me all I need to know.

Does anyone who got the phone call have the number? I got called while teaching today from (617) 989-0428 but there was no message? Think this is anything to be excited about? I live in NJ and don't really get random 617 calls although I did grow up in the Greater Boston area.

Just got waitlisted via email. The two people right below and above me on LSN got rejected so I can't complain.

Waitlisted via email... 3.84, 162. Who knows how the waitlist moves with BU? Do they accept a lot off the waitlist?

Complete early January, still no word. Anyone else in same boat (or not heard longer)?

I submitted in November. I went complete with my 2nd LSAT score in early January. They asked for an updated transcript with my grades at the end of January...haven't heard anything since.

Just finished my telephone interview with Dean Riccardi. He's really nice. But they said it will still take approximately 6 weeks before they can give me a decision. Really want to go there now after speaking with him. Just pray for myself.

6 Weeks? Were you WL'ed or something? Isn't that after their first seat deposit is due?daniel5215 wrote:Just finished my telephone interview with Dean Riccardi. He's really nice.
