Re: BU! woot.
Can anyone give me the info for getting into the admitted students site? I can't remember what the password is, even though I recall seeing it somewhere given out by BU. Anyone know where it was they gave out this info? Was it in a mailing, email, etc?
Edit: Found it.

Re: BU! woot.
BU made it certain a snail mail was sent to me on 1/25. Since I am outside of America now I should receive it soon. I heard that BU sent admissions exclusively by email or phone calling.
So I am at best put on the waiting list. However, the lady in BU Admission I spoke with a moment ago said BU sent some admissions by mail. Could anyone tell me the truth?
Thanks very much!
Necessary info LSAT 166 , not bad GPA

is this a bad sign?? looks like there are some people with complete dates in January who are freaking , so I wasn't sure if I should be too haha

Re: BU! woot.
Does anyone know what if any aid is given based on FAFSA and the NeedAccess form? Do they really give out money as need-based aid, or just subsidized and unsubsidized loan approvals?
I am holding on to my app there in hopes to get need-based aid as they snuffed me on merit aid. Anyone know of the likelihood of any money arriving? Thanks in advance.

the people who are freaking out that went complete in January are well (terms that mean bad things). they are very impatient.terpette wrote:I went complete on 12/16 and haven't heard a peep since. 166/3.81

they have rejected people. people under their lsat range, including a few high gpa reverse splitters.goosey wrote:has BU started rejecting people yet? Im waiting for a rejection...I dont know why, but knowing they rejected me will help me move on faster.
they have also rejected a few LSAT around 166-167 but they had gpas under 3.0.
seems like splitters have to wait longer, people with lsat 166+ and gpa lower than 3.4 but higher than 3.0

i think that's a good sign esp since you applied early as well. don't want to get your hopes up or anything but they must like something to hold on it.goosey wrote:finalaspects wrote:they have rejected people. people under their lsat range, including a few high gpa reverse splitters.goosey wrote:has BU started rejecting people yet? Im assuming that if I was offered money, it would have been in the original acceptance packet, correct?

ME TOO!!!!!
Also, someone mentioned that BU has been rejecting LSAT scores out of their range. WHAT IS THEIR RANGE? I'm one of those reverse splitters... 163/3.82

well people with too high of an LSAT will most likely go elsewhere so that'll be YP.cherryalamode wrote:even2flow wrote:I'm also in that <164 boat, but I have a crush on BU.goosey wrote: im < 3.0 and also < 164 so I am in the "why are you prolonging the torture" boat.

the lower end seems to be 164/165 according to LSN. but 2 163's were accepted and both had over 3.8 GPA like you. and only around 166 were decent amount of the GPA range were accepted.
also lsn is always on the upper end. BU's median is at 166 so half the students had lower than 166 as well. but it seems like they're trying to raise their LSAT median this year...

SIGH
They claim their 25th percentile is 163 so I'm holding onto that tiny ray of hope...
LSN is disheartening to me. LSP is TOO heartening to me (I think they lie lol, they seem too positive)...

I'm sure this is addressed somewhere, but if there's no money offer in the acceptance package, does that mean nothing is coming?
Also, does BU have a scholarship match program?
