OK, time for self-analysis

I think I'm just kinda irked that there's nothing I can do at this point. When I was taking the LSAT, I could always study a bit more. When I was writing my PS, I could always tweak it or totally scrap it and start over. When I was hunting down my professors for LoRs I could always send them just one more nagging message.

Now I don't even know what to do with myself, because I can't think of anything else I could work on to help my app. I really should re-invest in my hobbies. Or get another girlfriend or something. Anything but...ya know, focus on my work.

Anyone else feeling this way?

Silence.
VLADIMIR: This is awful!
ESTRAGON: Sing something.
VLADIMIR: No no! (He reflects.) We could start all over again perhaps.
ESTRAGON: That should be easy.
VLADIMIR: It's the start that's difficult.
ESTRAGON: You can start from anything.
VLADIMIR: Yes, but you have to decide.
ESTRAGON: True.
Silence.

Wow, I'm a 12/29er as well and didn't expect to find out until much much later (and I probably still won't). Congrats! Hopefully all of you guys who have been waiting for much longer find out soon!

I am beginning to think that we have fallen into some kind of black hole and that they have forgotten us. Like, all of the 11/16 apps are behind a file cabinet somewhere, not to be discovered until next December.

We can stage a sit in?

On a campus that we don't go to (yet). That'll teach 'em.

That, or they'll use the apps as bedding for a family of hamsters.

I started teaching myself German. Sprechen sie Deutch?! Though in reality, I try for a little while, and then am like, oh hey, I'll check my status checker.

Now I've moved on. Maybe I'll read every book on my bookshelf. I figure that's better than becoming a compulsive eater.

I dunno, I love eating. I just had a Pb+J to hold me over til dinner in about an hour. It was really good.

I want to learn some finance stuff I think. Because at work people mention things like 'stocks' and '401k' and 'savings' and I haven't the faintest idea what they're talking about.

In reality, I'm thinking about re-watching the entirety of Lost. That should hold me over.

so dean brown occasionally reads tls.

dear dean brown,

I really want to go to Fordham. Please accept me. I will bake you cookies (and I make AWESOME cookies) every single day for the entirety of 4 yrs of law school. And after that, when I graduate and get an awesome job because of my equally awesome Fordham JD, I will bake you cookies twice a day.

I will study 100 hours a day (I want Fordham so bad I will add hours to the day) and be at the top of my class.

Please want me.

Sincerely,
Goosey

Wow - this thread blew up today. While I'm not going to lie, I was hoping for some acceptances for the regulars, congrats to the new admits! Join up over in the Fordham 2013/2014 thread.

Pulling for the rest of you! When you guys get in, we should have a party. No joke.

My status checker did not change- still waitlisted

So be happy, maybe the disappearing status checkers mean acceptances are near. Each day that passes without an acceptance means there's a greater chance tomorrow will be the day :)
