Cutest story: I just got a call from a former manager of mine at a restaurant that I worked at during grad school 2 years ago. He had heard through one of the people that I used to work with that I had gotten into Fordham and called to congratulate me! That would be almost perfect with my schedule, because I could work the entire day Friday (with part days the other days) and have $$$ for school. Will probably send my app sometime next week, but it's very unlikely they'll take me (though I did write a "Why PT" segment to my PS).nygrrrl wrote:I think it's 630-830, M-Thgoosey wrote:What time do the part time classes typically start/end?

I was under the impression that if you don't get in FT you get auto-deffered to consideration for PT? Or you can choose that option? Or something. Am I mistaken?

According to the website, you cannot apply for both at the same time, but if you are declined admission FT, you can submit a request in writing to have your file reviewed for PT. I did this via email.Cardboardbox wrote:I was under the impression that if you don't get in FT you get auto-deffered to consideration for PT? Or you can choose that option? Or something. Ha, clearly. Actually, he's always been one of my biggest supporters...I thought he was going to cry when I told him that I was going back to school for Human Rights law, he was so proud! I was going to wait until later on in the cycle to let him know how it went but apparently news travels fast in NYC!clem21 wrote:He heard you got into Fordham so now he clearly wants a piece of your newfound awesomeness...LaurenGayle wrote: Cutest story: I just got a call from a former manager of mine at a restaurant that I worked at during grad school 2 years ago. Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Hey everybody, I went complete as of 11/16 and I doubt I'll hear anything before January. Good luck to all those waiting on the final EA statuses. Fordham is my only choice so I'm in this thread everyday but finally decided to register
Btw, I have a question. Since I'm a senior in UG and I'm regular decision, can I update my transcript to include the Fall semester's GPA? I'd probably make it before a decision is made. Would be nice, that's for sure. If so, how do I do that? Would I have to just ask the school to send in an updated transcript or do I have to do something on LSAC so that Fordham knows about it once it is already updated? Or do they get notified once LSAC takes care of the update?

No.. but I am also 167, 3.55+ so I am expecting it at this point. I applied 11/15 and compelte 11/16 so I don't expect to hear back yet....H. E. They're obviously waitlisting EAers especially because they want to wait to see how high they can raise their median LSAT (if at all). In a way, I'm almost glad I didn't apply EA because it's not enough time for them to see what kind of applicants they have. There is no way they can raise their median more than 1 point so I think 167s and splitters are going to be okay eventually.
I'm not sure when they review WL.. I thought not earlier than Feb or March for sure?
I cannot sleep. this process is so stressful.
