Yeah, I've gone from Complete (11/16) to In Review to back to Complete.

has everyone who has received a decision been "in review" first? or did the status checker just go from complete to decision?

Went straight to decision. The In Review thing is bizarre.

Sorry to hear that as well, keep trying. Fordham needs some more putnam county! Good luck!H. E. Pennypacker wrote:Thank you all for your concern. This board, and this thread in particular, has made this whole process go by a little easier, though getting this news tonight did sting. I am going to see what I can do about getting into the PT program and then maybe switching over to FT after the first year. If not, maybe I'll take the test again and try for it next year. Best of luck to all those still waiting, and congrats again to those who have made it. Fordham has the opportunity to put together a great class and I hope they take advantage of it.

planning on finalizing apps this weekend. I know I'm late and all but I retook in Dec. I'm not positive at all that the score went up since the RC was so tough.. I have a 165/? (I'd be surprised if it went down but it may be 165 again) and 3.54. Should I check off PT or FT? I really want Fordham... I would prefer FT obviously but I will absolutely do PT if needed.
good luck to those of youwaiting. To those of you admitted I'm jealous as hell

Has anyone received an acceptance package in the mail yet? And does the package include scholarship (merit-based) information?

I was accepted as of 12/9 and I have not received a package. I wouldn't expect anything to arrive until the middle of next week at the earliest.

I was a 12/4 admit and nothing in the mail yet. I don't live far from NYC.

Emailed the admissions office this morning about the evening program, where my numbers are a bit more realistic. Wish me luck!

I received the acceptance letter back in November, but no package yet. Scholarship info, for me, came a few days later.gitls wrote:Has anyone received an acceptance package in the mail yet? And does the package include scholarship (merit-based) information?

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
Look at LSN. We are numbers twins. I sent in a PT app and was admitted almost immediately. Plenty of FT applicants with better numbers were waitlisted. If you're absolutely serious that you would do PT if needed and you want to maximize your chances of admission, I recommend that you apply PT right off the bat. FT is possible but a huge gamble.akw009 wrote:planning on finalizing apps this weekend. I know I'm late and all but I retook in Dec. Does anyone know what the odds are of switching from PT to FT after your first year? Do they only take, say, 10 people or do you have to have a minimum GPA, etc?

Better, work helps, it is seriously just very frustrating, not even the unknown, but the fact we are all not hearing until April....nygrrrl wrote:How are you doing today, Ruby?

If you hunt through their website you can find the guidelines and form. It seems pretty straightforward and required "good academic standing". The form, as I recall, had something on it that made me think you could transfer after one semester or two. I could be wrong about that.
It would definitely look suspicious if you apply to PT with no valid reason for doing so. I went the PT route, but I've been an engineer for 6 years and hopefully will get a patent agent/scientific advisor job.

Still complete 11/2. Does it have to change to under review with Fordham or can it go direct to DR?

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
I'm still at complete as well. I guess I should feel lucky considering the recent wave of WL and denials. Fordham is easily my top choice and I feel kind of stupid for applying so late (Complete as of 11/16) when I see people with lower numbers than me get accepted. I hope we'll hear some good news soon, let's hope for a very happy Chrismahankwanzka and New Year's all around
