We need someone on the inside to tell us when decisions are on their way...

I'd like someone on the inside just to tell me that they received my early decision contract and that I'm complete.

I agree. I hope that I am ED? I really have no idea if they actually received everything or not... No complete email yet, and it is one day before the ED deadline...

So last year it looks like a few people found out by their Michigan status checker changing to "Withdrawn"... I wouldn't mind that, not in the least...

Hm, I just got GULC in the mail, so its time to pick up a new law school to obsess over, a.k.a. NYU ED (OMG). Any chance we'll hear before winter break? Anyone brave enough to bribe the admissions office to tell us? Updates, anyone?

finally complete as of today, but no mention of my ED application. any other EDers go complete and receive the rather generic email with only a vague mention of ED? i'd like to think they have my contract being that I checked off ED and they didnt' ask for my contract, but i'd like a bigger sample size then 1.

I didn't get my complete email until 11/26, but I called them and everything was actually completed by their 11/15 deadline, so I am officially ED.

This might be good news for those of you worrying about whether you made the ED cutoff. They're just REALLY delayed in sending out complete emails, I guess.

Is anyone else thinking there is at least some possibility it could happen end of this week?

I'm not expecting anything until mid-December.

Just out of curiousity, do most of you guys expect to be accepted, rejected or deferred?

I think I'm going to deferred, hopefully not an outright rejection :(

+1

The NYU adcomms seem to be of the "better late than never" mindset.

It really depends what day you ask me.. up until yesterday I would have said I'm placing my odds at about 60:40 to get accepted, but after Cornell I feel sooo much worse about my chances. In my head I'm starting to feel like I'm going to end up at GULC, even though I've only heard back from two schools.

I expect to be deferred, then rejected. LSP says I'm a "consider," but of course NYU doesn't take the highest LSAT. It was a hail-mary ED.

That's the day I graduate and I think I can keep my sanity till then.. once school is over, which really it is finished on the 9th, I won't really have anything to distract me and I think I may go insane...

I've got my heart so set on NYU it would be pretty crushing not to get accepted, which is bad because my chances are not looking great.

Actually, I'm honestly still hoping to hear something by the end of this week (around the time people heard two years ago), but I know that is wishful thinking.

Did you write an LSAT addendum, because honestly I think they look for excuses to look at the higher score...

No, I didn't.... I didn't really have a convincing reason for them to take the higher. My score didn't go up by much (165 vs. 168). The only difference was that I studied differently (not more) the second time.

Oh.. well best of luck... Hopefully they let us know soon... I hate that we have no idea of knowing when they're coming, I'm just going to have to check the PO Box everyday until I hear

For 2005-2006, 2006-2007, and 2007-2008 the first acceptances started coming in around 12/2 - 12/3...

Last year they started around 12/11...

I REALLY, REALLY hope that this year is more in line with 2005-2008...

I'm tempted to call them and ask when they expect to start sending out ED decisions...

I don't think they would appreciate it though
