what do you think LieutKaffee -- are we screwed? dying over here watching all the acceptances roll in...

Ehh, I'm hoping out hope still! I've found that my complete date of 11/25 is later than most of the ED people who have heard. I still think it's possible I had an acceptance postmarked 12/5 or 12/6 that I'll be receiving soon....

Then again, with Leaping's acceptance, we seem to have progressed from ED acceptances with numbers slightly above mine to ED acceptances with numbers slightly below mine. I don't love being passed over....

I actually became complete on Dec 1 oddly and got the letter yesterday... Also, for those of you who will be out of town for the rest of December (amadurchin), I called after Thanksgiving and changed my mailing address. If they haven't sent it yet, you can probably change it to somewhere where someone can check it for the next 2 weeks.

I still think my theory of the probably, maybe, probably not pile is what's going on here. Probably's are likely going to take less time to decide on than the maybe's. That's why us maybe's have not heard much yet IMO.

that's exactly what worries me. i don't want to be a maybe. at both medians (exactly) + ED = probably? that's what i was hoping at least... i guess all's well that end's well. *fingers crossed*

Just got my purple envelope this afternoon (ED sent around 10/31). I really liked the letter they sent. I'm very excited to get to know most (hopefully all) of you next fall.

okay so i finally broke down and called to see if i got my application in on time for ED... lady said "oooh yes you should be getting something in the mail" can't decide if i thought it was a good "oooh" or a bad "oooh." i guess now that finals are over for me, i'll have ample time to analyze this. haha.

ugh. i hate this slow trickle of ED notices. the RDers all got their letters while we are stuck with neurotically checking our mailboxes multiples times a day only to vomit from the stress and curl up in a corner awaiting imminent doom.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how could they not ask for your name when checking whether your own letter has been mailed out?

omg just called nyu, they sent out my decision on the 9th. Good news or bad news? I'm early decision btw. This is sad but im shaking a little

EDIT:I have a 3.6 171 so im not auto admit or auto reject
