Dean Pless,
I know you have already discussed that U of I does not provide travel stipends to visit the open houses, but does this only pertain to students who do not attend? If a student matriculates, do they receive a reimbursement, tuition credit, etc. for part of the travel expenses?

Anyone know anything about the new faculty and clinics for next year at U of I that Dean Pless referenced in an earlier post?

Put it into perspective - unless you go to HYS, you practically do have zero chance in ever teaching law. And if you do go to HYS, it's only like a 3% chance.jayzon wrote:Side note: those biographies make me feel like I have precisely zero chance of ever teaching law.

Currently we do not have any program that reimburses for travel expenses.msbeautifulbasham wrote:Dean Pless,

For those of you that went in to review last week, did your status checker update on Friday or the following Monday?

This. Also, I'm totally excited to know I'll definitely be getting a decision tomorrow. Dean Pleas has really impressed me with how open and helpful he is. And I'm not even saying that to try to suck up!

My status checker still says "incomplete."
The e-mail I got after sending in my app says that it may take up to two weeks to go complete after sending everything in...
I sent in everything a month ago, is this normal?

Nope. I was complete like a day after I submitted everything. Perhaps you really do have something missing.Xizenta wrote:My status checker still says "incomplete."

I'm surpringly patient. Knowing the e-mail is inevitable - I'm fine. I get more anxious when I have no idea when a decision is coming or when the mail will arrive. I appreciate Dean Pless' candor and transparency in regards to the process.
