I guess I kind of "expected" to get in being in-state, 166, 3.8+, URM, but I was still surprised and super happy! Only thing is I missed the call today b/c I was listening to my ipod

. Oh well, I can't wait to party in ATX this weekend!

I was at the median GPA and slightly above median LSAT, in state, so I suppose I would have been a little surprised at a rejection, but my paranoia/numbers insecurity/etc. kept me from expecting admission.

There was nothing in the packet about the scholarships stuff. I was kinda wondering this myself.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Monica Ingram on campus, and she informed me that scholarships would begin being sent out around 2 weeks from Tuesday.

i REALLY love UT. the fact that i got in is just a dream come true but the dream is going to turn into reality soon and i'll need some money to attend

Me too! Managed to not blurt out "ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE ME MONEY??" when asked if I had any questions.

I had been drinking and I accidentally answered the phone as I was pulling it out of my pocket. He was probably like we actually accepted this douche?

Question to all who have applied - it's been over a week since i submitted application and UT still hasn't requested my LSAC report. They e-mailed me last week to say they DID request it. Is this common? I applied EA so...

This. Mine still says this and my application packet must've been mailed a couple days ago given that I'm in California.
