In at Cornell, so excited! First acceptance after being waitlisted at my first 5 schools. Numbers are 3.6 171 applied late november/early december

I submitted my app on 2/1 (yes, very late), and applied with a 170/3.75 - should I still have hope or did I shoot myself in the foot by applying so late? I don't expect to hear anything for a long, long time... do you think it's possible that they'll fill all of their spots before even getting to my app?

Agreed with those who complained about the wording of the complete email. If I hadn't known it was coming, I definitely would have gotten excited about seeing "Dear Holly Golightly: We're delighted to inform you that..." from "Cornell Law School Admissions Office" in my email preview.

My status went to decision today, but states decision rendered on 2/22/2010, for those of you getting accepted...did you go decision prior to getting the email? I'm insanely nervous--is this a WL/Reject.

Yup, but it looks like it's just you and me. I thought about posting in the 'Law School Visit' forum, but again it would just be a conversation between you and me lol.

No reason to assume anything too bad yet; it could be something like the interview request some TLSers have reported getting, for example.

Can I ask when you guys went complete?

FWIW, my status went to Decision Rendered very early in January, when in fact I was told I'm "on reserve" and the decision is still pending (I called after receiving info by snail mail). Call their office - they're super nice.
