Got my rejection today.
Wow, very surprised and sorry. You will have better options this cycle, I am sure of it.

In other news, I withdrew from Cornell today. Hopefully that will allow them to admit someone else more quickly. Good luck everyone.

I'm sorry to hear this. With that LSAT score though, you should be fine as far as great schools are concerned.

When I got my EA Deferral letter, it said to write an email to the school to let them know if I want to be considered for RD, which I did. For everyone else who's done the same, does the status checker reset from Decision at any point, or are you flying blind until March or whenever?

There is a ton of URM love on LSN for this application cycle...almost a surprising amount. Any thoughts on this?

No different from last cycle. Cornell is now 39% minority/class - I think the highest in the T14, outside of HLS perhaps.

Is that good or bad?

Cornell is 18% URM if you take out the 21% that are Asian. I think that's still higher than every T14 except HYS.

Hm. Accepted on 12/23, received my package today in FL. Give it a few more days? Strange, though.

Yeah, I'm in NYC, too. If I don't get it today I'll call the admissions office to verify my address.

Yeah, I got my email 4 days after you, but received my package in Florida last week. I would call.

I sent in my app on 12/28 and haven't received any email confirmation that Cornell received it...do they have a status checker or let you know when apps are complete at all? (Already went complete at Duke and UVA submitting at the same time)

Cornell has a status checker on their website here: http://support.law.cornell.edu/admissions/status/

It's nearly useless though. Helpfully, it's so far told me that I 'Applied' as of 11/06/09.
