Re: Cornell waiting room
The status checker lags two days behind, and since no decisions are made on the weekends, you guys shouldn't worry about the lack of an update right now. The next update will probably be 12am Wednesday morning - this is how it's been in previous weeks.

Re: Cornell waiting room
I am still EAC complete 11/16.
LSAT at the 75th and GPA at the median...so on #s alone, I don't think I am really borderline according to last years stats and I am definitely not a splitter.
I did send the admissions office an additional essay on 11/20 so that could have delayed the review of my app.

Don't worry about the status checkers, guys. I got my email and the status checker didn't update until the next day.

I am planning on calling tomorrow no matter what, as they will be closed for the holidays after tomorrow.

Nobody got rejected or deferred by email, right? Only accepted?

I think you're right. Emails only to admits.NayBoer wrote:Nobody got rejected or deferred by email, right? Only accepted?
On a side note, I wish all schools would go paperless. It's eco-friendly and takes a hell of a lot less time to inform neurotic applicants of their decisions.

Just called. (I had DR 12/17). I am in. And invited to apply for the deans scholarship, but I don't know what that is because I don't have the actual letter.

EAC 11/11. Cornell is a pretty big reach for me though so I'm not really on edge waiting to hear back.

EAC 11/11. Just called and the committee is just looking over my file now. Oh boy. Cornell is a reach for me too, so I wouldn't be surprised if I got rejected. The woman I talked to was very kind and she told me to call back first thing tomorrow morning!

That's really weird to think about actual people sitting in a room looking at your application.sophia wrote:EAC 11/11. Just called and the committee is just looking over my file now. Oh boy. It's an awful feeling. Then again, maybe it's good luck that I called at the very same time they were reviewing my file...wackjickham wrote:That's really weird to think about actual people sitting in a room looking at your application.sophia wrote:EAC 11/11. So, I was on the website and noticed that tuition is 48k now. I didn't know it was quite that high. I really hope they offer me some merit aid (didn't get the Dean's consideration thing) because x3 along with everything else will run close to 200k of debt.

Congratulations! Haha when I saw that you were accepted I got excited for a minute because I thought that we had similar numbers. So I was like, "Oh man! If wackjickham got in, maybe I have a chance! Let me just look at his LSN pro.. Oh. Oh. Ok nevermind."wackjickham wrote:IN VIA EMAIL!!!!

170+/3.3+ Deferred to regular application cycle. It makes me worried about my prospects at other schools...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
