just pretend to cry, then maybe they'll change their minds!
Does it have to be pretend? Will real crying work?

Nope. No fudging, those are my exact numbers. Never really been secretive about who I am on TLS or LSN.

Think of it this way. All the EAC people will have answers within the next 10 days. So not that much longer. GL :)

Edit: Damn, I suck at words and typing them.

No so much a problem with it, as it was just disturbing on some basic, instinctual level that I will never be able to articulate into words. It was an unspeakable horror worthy of HP Lovecraft.

I wonder if there are a lot of stories of deferred people getting acceptances later on.
Okay in all seriousness what the hell is cornell looking for? I am slightly below 3.7 with a 168. It seems that you and I should be the people they take EA. But they're deferring us, they're deferring the 170-breakers. I simply don't understand. My softs are real good too.
I'm right there with both of you. It's killing me. I was so sure that Cornell was going to be my ticket to the T-14. Now I'm just worried. Georgetown is holding off on my app till later and as much as I love Penn, I know its highly unlikely. If I can't get into Cornell how am I going to get into Penn?

I've been reading this thread obsessively!

I too went DR 12/11, but I'm too afraid to call. I don't think I could stand being rejected over the phone. Does anyone know how we will be notified formally? I won't be able to check the mail until January

Lol, then do the girl equivalent. Either way, call and get it over with. Worst comes to worst, you at least have closure and don't have to think about it anymore. And best case, you can start celebrating early.

Okay. So it was not that bad.

How is Ithaca this time of year? Is it mostly snow, no snow, or mostly ice? I'm just wondering how it compares to the current weather in the midwest.

I was deferred. I guess I'll be sending in transcripts and whatnot.

Np. 166/3.7

Time to figure out what a LOCI is. What kind of supplemental material do they want?

A LOCI. just kidding, it's a letter of continued interest. Keep it brief and probably good to submit it with any additional documents/information that migh help your case.

Good luck!

Should we submit the LOCI asap or wait until they are at least done with EA decision making?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
