that's horrible... you should just call and make them give you the decision over the phone. a one week wait is bordering on cruel and unusual punishment

Definitely call. They probably won't be allowed to say anything over the phone depending on school policies, but they should at least resend the letter.
This is why I am glad Vandy used priority mail. The waiting for the actual letter must be worse then the waiting for the status update.

Applied 10/26. Complete 10/28. Under review 11/6 (but showed up on 11/11, oddly enough).

This is not true at all. Being in DC, I know a lot of PT ppl come to DC and get jobs. But, for the PT it can be a crapshoot, and having something else that you are/will be doing during the day is usually a good factor they will consider.
ED PT. Complete 10/29, UR 11/11.

Went DR this afternoon! Ahhh I'm nervous. I am regular decision, originally under review 10/28 I believe. How long has it taken, on average, to get the mailing after getting DR?

I went DR last Monday (11/9) and got my letter on Thursday (11/12). But Wednesday was Veteran's Day, so no mail.

OMG, Georgetown didn't forget about me.... the Fed-ex guy just called and it was from D.C.!!
I tried to get him to open it for me over the phone and he almost did, but he didn't want to get my hopes up (and its kind of illegal). So close!!

Whats the proper way to send updates to GULC?
i.e. big promotion, plans which affect LS, etc.

Whoa. Just checked into status checker for giggles, because I didn't think anything would happen. Decision rendered!

For general info, I went complete 10/21 (RD), and my status checker date changed to 11/12 just last Thursday. Now the wait begins.
I was just going to say congrats to everyone who got their decision today when I realized we're not going to know until the letter comes.

I got switched to "decision rendered" just two weeks after I went to "under review." That was faster than I thought. Hope they thought about it enough...
